He had many fun and interesting stories straight from his grandfathers who worked in the mine making both the museum tour and underground in the mine fascinating and wonderful.
This is a must due when close the ferry ride is wonderful and the mine and museum tour is incredible

I've been to museums all over the world but The Rooms is really a standout with an exceptionally designed building and well presented historical and contemporary artifacts and artwork.

I added to my visit by taking the museums recently inaugurated Beyond Words tour.... got to see the inside of some of the sites that handled the stranded passengers, took in the 1950's time capsule at the airport...

Lovely lighthouse with titanic museum..the views are stunning..we watched the sunset over the ocean..amazing..an easy drive right to the lighthouse.
Visited the lighthouse and museum including the escorted tour of the top deck of the lighthouse.

This is a very modern museum covering a lot of topics such as geology and more specifically the geological formations of Newfoundland and Labrador , astronomy , oil and gas exploration and the history of earth !

On our way to Harbour Mille we stopped to check out the car museum.
The next morning we back tracked a little to visit this museum- imagine our surprise when in the middle of what appeared to be nowhere we found a museum full of wonderful old cars- each in pristine condition.
