We went with John Pennekamp State Park tour boat, Dolphin and Katie(mate) and Brian (captain) were so patient, knowledgable and helpful.
We took a snorkeling trip through John Pennecamp Park for $29/per person (if you need to rent snorkeling gear it's a little extra).

Great fishing and sight seeing areas, Little Duck Key, Cudjo Key some have places to park and boat launch and fishing piers build onto the old bridge.
Amazing Biking weekend seeing all the parks along the way that I did not notice while driving.
