Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- tlynn63Cincinnati, OH734 contributionsA lovely museum which is really in two buildings attached by a walkway. I particularly enjoyed the decorative arts area. They have a large and wonderful gift shop with many interesting and unusual items. Lockers are available for $ .25 but it took me a few minutes to figure them out. I had looked online for details for our visit and when we arrived the prices on the board by the cashiers did not match what I saw online. It occurred to me that those prices were for general admission plus the special exhibit. It did not list general admission only but I asked for it plus senior discounts and was given it.Written 13 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chris-From-MDWashington DC, DC134 contributionsI thought the art pieces (paintings) were just great. The color balance, the dimensions of the pieces, all married very well. I had never heard of this artist and was glad to discover his art. I enjoyed my visit.Written 11 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Matthew J1 contributionSimply amazing, there is so much to explore and so many secret rooms. The music is interesting in each area and the story pulls you into what you are experiencing. 100% recommend for anyone wanting a creative experience.Written 31 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michael ASouth Daytona, FL49 contributionsThe museum was very impressive with two centuries of art to modern painting. There are three floors of works of the old west.
The museum is very good for the handicap or senior citizens. Elevators for all floors.
Very old building located in the heart of Denver.
A must stop if you are in the area.Written 14 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - StatwestVancouver, WA29 contributionsShort but a fun experience. Cost $60 for 2 people which is a little steep, but there are some fun photo sets. The infinity room in particular was fun.Written 20 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Chris-From-MDWashington DC, DC134 contributionsThe only reason I do not rate this place as Excellent is because it is so tiny that, even as the displays are fantastic, there is very little to see, and hardly enough to warrant the place being called a museum. It might be better titled Casa de las Americas, to lessen the expectation of the visitor, and the deception.. What is on display is interesting though. The place is located in Denver's so-called art district, with lots of little galleries and many interesting murals. The Uber driver recommended I visit the place during the day and said this is a no-go place after dark.Written 11 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
