Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Head to elegant Larimer Square for shops, people-watching, and dinner. Larimer Square is the city’s oldest and most historic part of town where the first gold prospectors from the Old West era staked their claim.

There’s a relaxed vibe and it’s the perfect part of town to chill into your weekend in Denver. You’ll find hip coffee bars, urban boutiques and exclusive stores, and maybe some street performers. For dinner, take your pick from a great range of chef-led restaurants or one of the many different cuisines available.

I’d say the best and most interesting part of Denver particularly if you like street art. Loads of casual eateries, bars and craft brewing.
    Particularly like Central Market.

This tower is right in the 16th street mall. It’s pretty tall and looks like something that you would see in Europe. It’s a cool structure.

The building was closed on a Saturday afternoon; I'd guess it's only open on weekdays. The inside has been at least partly taken over by a telecommunications company, but the lobby looks interesting from the glass doors outside. And the outside of the building is great. Here are a few photos.

My flight was delayed a couple of hours so I had time to kill and wandered around the different terminals in DIA.

This statue was located as soon as I disembarked at the Terminal B tram station. People were rushing all around me that I felt a little out of place stopping in front of the statue.

The statue depicts John Swigert Jr dressed in a pretty realistic looking space suit. On the backside was a plaque that highlighted it was a replica of the actual one displayed in the US Capitol. It also detailed his education, multiple applications to NASA and the infamous Apollo XIII mission where he and his fellow astronauts successfully piloted their damaged spacecraft back to earth. They were all heroes.

Came for college visit. The food in the cafeteria was excellent. Campus kept up beautifully and super clean everywhere. Every student or faculty member was very helpful. Some parking lots a little small but it is a smaller college. Be sure to checkout the chapel.

Drove by looking for another attraction, and it's just like people said; it's just a shopping plaza. Nothing much there unless you want to shop. It's not bad, just nothing exciting.

This little part of Denver was so cute. Old, historic homes that take a little of time to explore. Each house has the their own unique history that explains who owned the house and other little tidbits.

Every year in late September the Denver Architecture Foundation puts together over 50 buildings to tour over a two day weekend. There are also "insider tours" for a fee but these were sold out for the locations we were interested in. We visited three mansions built in the late 1800's, including the Governor's Residence at the Boettcher Mansion. We also visited the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on 1535 Logan St. The inside is even more spectacular than the outside. After touring we joined the Octoberfest fun on Larimer Street. A long but fun day!

The Mayan is a staple in Denver. It has two theatres on the main level and one on the top level. There is a bar upstairs and you can take a drink into any of the theatres. The seats are not new, but the intricate design of the space and art work is so worth the visit. They show independent and international films. You can be assured that if you go to a film there you'll see a good one!

So I searched for this attraction expecting actual tools and such on a wall. However, be prepared to be looking for murals. Lots and lots of murals on buildings and in alleys. Very very beautiful art. Lots of walking, sometimes with no shade. But definitely a must see.

There are a lot of interesting individuals located in the cemetery, including former soldiers and baseball players. The cemetery is in a deteriorating state but still worth checking out.
