There were all kinds of performances, singing, instrumental performances, sword swallowing, and karaoke. The setting and drinks were great and the whole event provided a great impression of Denver. The large arched windows , seasonal decor, art, and quality dance floor make all events here special. - Adam P1 contributionShowed up Saturday night to see a specific DJ preform with a friend. We had never been there before and when we arrived there were 2 lines on either side of the building. No signs to tell us where he was preforming, none of the security folks or people at the door knew either. They all failed to mention that there was one price for levels 1-3, and a separate price for the 'basement.' So we each spent $20 to get in and after talking to many people inside, they did not know where he was preforming either but one person advised us to check out the basement. We had bands on already so they advised us to go outside and get in the other line specifically for the basement. We get up to the door and they tell us is it $20 to get in. I explained we already paid and they tell me that we paid for levels 1-3 and that the basement is a separate cost even though a part of the same club. I explained we had only been there for 5 minutes, no one knew where to direct us or where the DJ was preforming, that no signs were up, etc. and asked if there was any way that we could transfer what we had JUST paid for as we were not needing to use floors 1-3. They said there were no refunds or transfers of any kind. So I ended up having to pay an additional $20 for myself, AND, an additional $20 for my friend as he only brought $20 cash. So a total of $80 between my friend and I and we finally got to the right place. The people working here have no idea what is going on or where anything is and no sympathy or understanding for errors made due to their lack of knowledge of their own club. It would be great if there was some small level of organization so as to know where you should head if going to see a specific artist. - Cecilia A1 contributionI have never been more disrespected ever like I have here. My friend and I felt like we were judged on because of our race. The waiter was so rude and told us we had to leave even though the owner was trying to have a decent conversation with my friend about the problem we had encountered. During this whole mess all I was waiting for was an apology from them for treating us the way we were treated. Then some of their employees laid their hands on me and started pushing me out. (Mind you they were not wearing masks) I stood there without putting my hands on them and the waiter came and took my personal things from my hand and threw them out the door. This is not the way to be treated! Ever! I am beyond upset at how they treated us that I had to share this to get the word out! This business needs to reconsider who they hire because this was one of my favorite places to dance to Latin music but it breaks my heart they allow their staff to treat people this way.
