Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Seawind1Thessaloniki, Greece66 contributionsA perfect place to spend time in. It has a Mall, many restaurants, bars and shops, and is a very lively area in Los AngelesWritten 24 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Praveen RMontreal, Canada8 contributionsA Fun experience for families and kids. I just wanted to see the movie sets and locations which I did. Other than that there are tons of movie themed rides which I was not interested in but it may be a lot of fun for kids who enjoy amusement parks. I'd advise to come early so you can stand in line and experience all the rides if you would like. Other than movie sets, i enjoyed Waterworld stunts the most.Written 9 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lena KFullerton, CA391 contributionsThe weather was great for shopping at The Citadel outlet mall. The Holiday Tree was up and Santa’s photo background was being assembled. So many great designer shops: clothing, shoes, luggage, jewelry. There are plenty of seats at several different food venues, including indoor seating at Ruby’s Diner.Written 18 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dolores KFairbanks, AK1 contributionLots of items on sale right now, shoes were a great buy. The restaurants are open, and everyone has a great menu. Beware of the homeless and keep your high price items close to your body. I you drive use the public parking lot.Written 3 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Barry BSidcup, UK33 contributionsStumbled across this place on our way to the nearby mall, The Grove. The bus stops just along the road.
There is a little bit of history attached to this market so worth looking at some of the historical facts and pictures around the place on the walls as well as the old fuel pumps.
What a choice for fresh and cooked food, all in one place.
You can stroll up an down the aisles to take in the sights and smells of all the different foods.
We were a couple but the market caters for all. Even if a family all want different foods it is here.
The atmosphere is very friendly and no pressure to buy from any of the vendors.
For any readers of this review who like spicy sauces then make an effort to visit the Dragunara Spice Bazaar which contains some very entertaining names for the sauces and snacks. Maybe not for the younger members of the family.
Whether you need to purchase fresh food or simply enjoy breakfast, dinner or a snack I would highly recommend a visit to the Farmers Market.Written 13 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Getting around was a bit confusing at first, especially if you enter via the shop fronts, but we got to where we needed to be. The whole feel of the place is a almost like it isn't finished yet - and the food court is small and unappealing.Written 17 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - cgny1fwdHouston, TX1,276 contributions...I got the the gallery with the Hammer Collection. Stunning. Not a large collection (or just what was on display) but great quality. Loved the Van Gogh of the garden at Nuenen. The Salomé and King David pieces are unusual and beyond description. The rest was kind of blah. In the van Dyke Parks quadraphonic gallery, they sit you by the speakers. The whole point of quadraphonic is to be centered. Of course there was probably some artistic intent that I'm too dumb to get.Written 25 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zoehoward1152Glendale, CA13 contributionsThe LA flower market is a joy to walk around. There is easy parking and Poppy and Rose is a wonderful organic restaurant for breakfast or lunch right opposite.
The vendors are friendly and helpful and if you need flowers for an event you can check out my daughter, Tayah Howard at @orignelsewhere she does events and runs floral workshops for group of friends.Written 14 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The clothing is not even close to designer knock off, so I guess it depends on what you are looking for... Parking was easy. There are shops galore! The area itself is a little shady. I felt like you could definitely get pick pocketed here, so if you wanna go to check out this strange little part of LA than plan accordingly.Written 13 October 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - IranicalLos Angeles, CA7 contributionsIt is a great location for food and watching a brief of Los Angeles history. Also, it is next to The Grove and you can visit both locations in 1-2 hours.Written 2 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - WizzeyLuxembourg City, Luxembourg31 contributionsParking is free outside the main part of the mall so drive around before you end up paying. Really good choice of restaurants and cafes and plenty of seating to relax without feeling the obligation to a buy a coffee you don't need.Written 10 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - @i_therefore_concludeOrange County, CA1,982 contributionsTook our Canadian tourist to Mrs Fish for a fantastic Father’s Day dinner. A colorful, artsy staircase transports you to a cool basement with a lovely massive aquarium. Located across Pershing Square and in the same building as its sister-resto hotspot Perch, it is a good choice for an amazing LA night-out!
We ordered several creative cocktails (average $15 each) and the following:
pork belly skewer $13
skirt steak skewer $14
rock shrimp tempura skewer $15
braised short rib $30
miso black cod $26
blue crab roll $14
hazelnut mousse with matcha ice cream and wasabi powder
We give this restaurant WOW marks in service, cocktails, skewers and ambience. My absolute favorite dish of the night is the flavorful, very tender, fall-off-the-fork short rib. The secret sauce sunchoke purée with horseradish is super duper lick-the-bowl yummy. The Miso black cod comes in second. The dessert was a revelation as well - matcha ice cream topped with wasabi powder to tame the sugar rush of hazelnut mousse! Geniusssss!
Shout out to our server extraordinaire Gladys. Best to reserve on Opentable.
