Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent exhibition - with guide (Emmet) and recordings. Very well organised exhibition - give yourself enough time to read various historical notes. Obviously an amount of money spent on this place - shame it isnt better advertised / attended. Great value for money

Really enjoyed this visit to a "family castle" great insight to what living in a castle must have been like . View from the roof was stunning. Guide (Derek?) was excellent.
suggest some additional seating for older visitors during the visit as lot of standing involved.

This site is nice to visit bit they could do more to make people understand the history and the site's importance. Visit the Rebellion museum first.

I have NEVER seen a church yet, as beautiful as this one. I have been to the big cathedral in New York City, as I grew up in NJ, but I can not really remember it so St. Aidan's is by far the most beautiful cathedral I have ever been to yet. Everywhere you turned, there was more and more beauty. The stained glass windows, the Church seats, honestly it is all so breathtaking. We were even able to take a bottle of St. Aidan's Holy Water- and one back to my Mother in Law, which was a real treat. Simply breathtaking. A MUST SEE if you are in Enniscorthy.

This is a treasure of a beach so wide and so long and with great car parks and you feel as if you are stepping back in time with the amusements and coffee / tea room , you would think the beach was in the South of France and you can see the boats =come and go from Rosslare

The site is beautifully maintained and the stonework in the carefully restored farmyard is a delight.
There is significant restoration to Fr Murphy’s House ongoing at the moment but this is being sensitively managed.
The historical material is interesting and very well presented. This was the third site visit of our day - following on from the 1798 exhibition centre in Enniscorthy, and a stop off at Vinegar Hill.
The very local and personal nature of the Father Murphy experience fits very well into the broad context introduced in the outstanding 1798 exhibition.
The absence of signage at some key road junctions can make the Fr Murphy site challenging to find - but persevere - it’s well worth it.

We actually found this only by realizing the sign when driving N11. Not possible to park near, so we took a short walk and read information table of that hidden gem. Never before even heard about village Leinster,,,, so every day could give you a new information to learn.

Without a doubt if you do not have a good bar person then shut your doors.
Jimmy take a bow you are a legend and you are what all bars in this mad pandemic need.
Common sense, comply within the regulations, treat your customers with respect, because its as hard for them, as it is for staff.
Then abuse them in that Irish way that makes us all smile.
Well done great greeting, great pub, great company, great drink great food available if needed and more importantly open for business we will be back Brian Dublin Cahill. Dublin Airport.

I was here last night for the Austin Walkin Cane gig as part of the Blackstairs Blues Festival. Besides the exceptional quality of the entertainment, I was struck by the efficiency at which the bar staff executed their duties. I was sitting at the bar for the evening so had the perfect vantage point in which to observe. In spite of the fact that the pub was full to the rafters, I noticed that no customer was left for very long waiting to be served. The three barmen were very much in tune with the customers and calm and pleasant in their demeanour. Impressive.

Excellent couple of days away. Love this place ! Excellent Spa treatments. Had a fabulous tension massage on day one with Andre. Had a lovely facial with Egla on day two. Only one thing I would suggest..tea and coffee facilities in rooms. Was a bit disappointed with the "bruchetta " in the Spa cafe..it wasn't bruchetta it was as thin as a cracker, other than that food was delicious

Stayed in Ballymac village for a week in August and this course was less than 10 minute drive away so came here on two separate days, once for footgolf followed by footpool and then for the par 3 golf. The footgolf was very good, not as long as other ones I've played in Dublin but meant the younger kids enjoyed it more as they were able to get some birdies and pars. Footpool was nice novelty to play, harder than it looks and good fun. The par 3 course is one of the best ones I've played but quite difficult so wouldn't recommend for those that haven't really played golf before. Overall Blackwater was decent value for money and I'd definitely recommend it for sporty families.
