What travellers are saying
- Arizonapopi1Florence, Italy810 contributionsAbout $50 for 2 for up and back. About $40 for up and back on cable car. If you’re a hiker you can walk down on the ski slope. Restaurant at top of funicular as pretty good. Had typical Austrian food with terrific views. There are many places to sit so check them all out before deciding. Really great play area for the younger set. Wouldn’t hesitate to take children.Written 16 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - elvis_is_foundUK12 contributionsWhat a fantastic few hours, very well-kept and loved animals. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff. Our favourite part of staying in Seefeld so far. Highly recommend and great value .Written 8 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- jaime wFrankfurt, Germany31 contributionsHad such a wonderful time! We bought a day pass b/c I didn’t want to be rushed and I’m glad we did. The restaurant has plenty of options and was great. The snack shop down stairs wasn’t staffed full time so you had to press a buzzer to get someone from the restaurant to come. There are taps but kegs were not hooked
Up for draft beer. There is a masseuse and salon, neither of those were staffed either and we weren’t informed about this at the front desk. There is solarium which you have to pay for but I had to go ask someone for the prices as they were listed. The slides were only opened up for about a 20 min stretch 2 or 3 times in a single day so you couldn’t enjoy them at leisure. You are given a watch to purchase things and have to clear each watch instead of paying one bill when you leave.Written 22 December 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PaulBMaastricht, The Netherlands3,127 contributionsThe smallish church was built as a votive church for the Miraculous Cross in the early 17th century in early Baroque style.
After its construction, the church became a much-visited place of pilgrimage.
The name refers to the former location of the church in an artificial lake.Written 8 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Got the bus to the wildmoos alm (local bus not covered by regional pass - gotcha.
Catch the bus by the chemist soutside the fire station. e2.60 each .After walking around the lakes we stopped at the lottensee hut for coffee and then walked down to mosern through the forest and found the peace bell and some wonderful views. Good place to stop for lunch.
walked back through the woods, signs got a bit confused in Seefeld itself. So we had a radler on the way in the village, and then back for an afternoon cake.
Really liked Seefeld -lots of possibilities for places to go.

- Graham NBlackpool, UK164 contributionsGreat place to visit but unless vehicle transport is an option it’s a steep walk even if the rail service to the Rosshutte is used first.Written 22 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Peter bBirmingham, UK809 contributionsThe tourist office is part of the Seefeld railway station building. It is one of the most informative and helpful ones we have ever found. The staff were always pleasant and if they couldn't answer your question they could always someone who could. The amount of literature was fantastic. You can get your "Walking Passport" from them and in two weeks we accumulated in access of the 100 points to obtain a FREE pin (Steinbok, Edelweiss or boot is available).Written 23 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
