Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited Belvedere House for the "land of light "show. Thankfully it reminded dry and we were well wrapped up against the cold. A pleasant walk through the woods and grounds seeing all the light displays and music in the background. I feel very child oriented but a nice stroll . Had a lovely hot chocolate and a cappuccino on completion. Well worth checking out

Spent the day here on Sunday with my two sons, husband and MIL. A beautiful pet farm, buggy friendly, big tractor shed with ride on tractors was a big hit! Small go karts were great too. We had lunch in the cafe and it was absolutely gorgeous. Spoke with Jerry and Linda who own and run this family business. Lovely people, lovely place. Looking forward to many days here in the summer

We parked at Streamstown and cycled from there to Ballinea where the Old Rail Trail meets the Royal Canal Greenway. It was a nice smooth surface all the way. We met a lot of friendly people and had plenty of chats along the way. We are looking forward to our next outing from Moate to Streamstown. The Greenway is well signposted and parking, cafe, water fountain and toilets at Streamstown. There are a few tables along the way.

This cycleway well deserves its inclusion in the Euro-Velo stable. It is flat and sealed most of the way. The scenery is beautiful especially in late spring early summer. Ireland needs to treasure this cycleway and perhaps advertise it more vigorously. The day that I was riding it there were very few cyclists.

I’d never been to the dogs before but enjoyed my experience.

For just over €30 We got a meal included in that. The Food was ok but nothing special.

Someone comes to your table and your bet on the dog that you think can win. I would recommend as an evening entertainment if you have nothing to do

Took a walk along the lake shore and really enjoyed the walk. There is also a parking area with a great viewing platform and picnic area.

Very good garden centre with good selection of plants - some old specimens there could be sold cheaper. Not as expensive as Johnstown in Kildare.

Arrived at 5 to 10.00 barrier to car park was up so drove straight in . Mass at 10.00 am every morning for 20-30 minutes Cathedral reminds me of synagogue, mosque, and baptist church rolled into one . It is fairly modern but has mosaics placed by the same artist as Westminster Abbey in London . Very helpful parking attendant normal would get a ticket at entrance but gave us a ticket. Pay on way out ticket machine in left door besides main entrance free for 1st 20 mins 1 euro for every hour there after.
Although barrier is up 30 mins after mass finishes. Lovely welcoming staff. The plastic hawk interesting.!

Good venue. The portable steps in the venue are very springy which shakes the whole row of seats when someone uses them. It's a pity. I'd recommend an extra bar staff for big events

Pub is nothing wild or exciting. Good music. Affordable cocktails. Have had to inform staff of drink promos on multiple occasions where they would try to charge normal price. Toilets have no locks on doors so have to be held closed by foot or bring a friend to man it for you.

Beautiful lake perfect for families, friends, partners, etc to go and walk around, sit down n relax and generally just enjoy eachothers company. Have gone to Lough Ennell every year since about 2000 and it never fails to calm me, love it!
