What travellers are saying
- Sarah M5 contributionsReally enjoyed skiing here. Great for beginners and families and challenging runs. Nice area to ski, staff are very friendly, wasn’t overly crowded and ski school really good.
The area has lots of hotels, bars and places to eat. The food/drinks are reasonably oriced.
Be careful though as Andorra is not part of EU roaming so turn off data.
Accommodation affordable and ski hire and lift passes too.
Would recommend here to ski!Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I came here with my 6 years old daughter and we did the excursion from El Pas de la Casa to Abelletes lake with a chairlift and return by walk. She enjoyed a lot walking, playing and running in the mountains. Also, the lake is very beautiful and you can see very nice views with mountains. My daughter enjoyed also a lot here. We playing near the lake, we "climbed" a lot on the rocks, we did a pique-nique, we surrounded all lake and we enter in France (the lake is one of the natural borders between Andorra and France). Summarizing, she like very much and, in fact, the next day, we rtepeated the experience. Two fantastic mornings!Written 4 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain11,524 contributionsEls Pessons Trail is a pathwalk located between Ski station of Grau Roig and Pessons Mountains, in Andorra Country, a little one in Pyrenees. It is a wonderful trail, where you can see some wonderful natural lakes, fantastic views of the mountains (Pessons Mountains and other one) and nature. We came here at the end of May and we could see some zones with snow (in fact we could not arrive at the end of the hike, because the last part of the path to go up to the mountain has a lot of snow) and almost nobody in the trail. Really an excellent experience for nature-lovers!

It is located in Andorra, the little country of Pyrenees. If you follow this trail, you can see wonderful views of the mountains, especially in the last part of the trail, when you go up the Agols Peak. Before, you can see the Refuge, forest and very beautiful views, but it is here, where the hike is better. I follow all this trail and continue to the Illa Refugee from the Agols Peak. In this part, you can enjoy a lot with amazing views of the mountains and lakes, you find in the trail. Also, the last point, the Illa mountain refuge is very modern and very nice. I stop here and eat a pique-nique before returning. Top for mountain-lovers!Written 17 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain11,524 contributionsLlac del Cubil is a lake located close to Play de Solanelles, where Funicamp cableway end, in Andorra, the little country in Pyrenees Region between France and Catalonia. The lake is a very nice place to come with children in summer, because you can enjoy with very beautiful views and children can learn fishing, so my daughter enjoyed a lot, when we were here. She was fishing and we had relaxing moments. Also, it is a very nice place to do a pic-nic with all family or friends. We arrived there with a mini-bus from Pla de Solanelles, but it is possible to arrive by walk. Very beautiful.

The trail is in the forest on an un paved road. Climbing is hard , 300 m for 1.3 km. During climbing there is nothing to see. And, when you are at the top you get first thr view of a telecommunications antena. If you gi behind it you get a nice view of the valley.
To sum: go there by a car. Skip the trail but look and enjoy the road to the beginning of it.Written 11 November 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. No need to go through Skiset, if you just call / email the local shops then they'll happily sort your booking and nobody is skimming off the top.
The guys gave me the most comfortable set of Ski boots I've ever used. everything was perfect. thanks to the Ski Pas 83 team.Written 30 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We did a wonderful trekking from El Pas de la Casa (in fact, from the apartment, where we stayed some days) to the mountain. Really, it is a fantastic hike! At the beginning you can see Abelletes Lake , just in the middle of the border between France and Andorra, after you can follow the ski lift to arrive to a pathway. Here begin the best part, because you go up two mountain pass, from where it is possible to see amazing views of the surroundings: mountains, valleys and lakes. Incredible two places! A top hike in the region! Very recommendable!Written 16 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Worldwide TravelBangkok, Thailand4,918 contributionsThe tourism office is right at the entrance of the town when driving from France nearby so it's ideally located and also at the center of the town. The town is compact so everything is walking distance from there. For tourism in Pas De Le Casa, I think the best is for outdoor tours, either hiking or ski, because the town itself had little to offer. Even finding souvenir shops was not straightforward which is telling. On the plus side, the scenery was very beautiful however.Written 6 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AlbertSalichsManresa, Spain11,524 contributionsSant Pere is the main church in El Pas de la Casa, a little town in Andorra, just in the border with France on the main road. It is a typical modern and little stone church located in the town. It was built only some years ago and it is a typical building of the Pyrenees. NIce, not more. It is OK visit it, if you walk around the center of the town.Written 3 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
