- JnanayogSt. John's, Canada4,116 contributionsBack in February of 1872 the national flag of Argentina, designed by Belgrano was raised here. Today this massively monument, which by the way you can see on the 10 Peso note, stands as a significant symbol for the Argentinian people. It is one massive tower, which can be entered and an elevator takes one to the top. Off to the west side the monument continues where you will find the Eternal Flame. Located on the banks of this massive river where large sea-going bulk carriers ply, you will see the monument, and the very Tall Flag Pole... minus its Flag the days we visited.Written 12 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

The tombs are massive and all different. Not as big as the one in Buenos Aires but just as interesting and very quiet. It is adjacent to the large Independence Park, so see the park and then come in. I spent about an hour checking it our!Written 25 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Virginia Poggio3 contributionsThis two hour boat ride was great. I liked getting to see the "recreos" across the river and the Rosario highlights from the boat.
If it's nice out, make sure you buy your tickets in advance as they do sell out. As of 03/2019, you could get them online. You have to get there a bit earlier than departure time (perhaps 30 minutes) to check in and board.
They have a small kiosk on board where you can purchase snacks and drinks.Written 6 March 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
