"It was so nice to walk in the rain forest and see those marvelous trees, The histories of the various tribes (Ravens and Eagles) and how they lived, their culture then and today, was very interesting.""Our tour guide/driver "Rebecca Thelen" that brought us here after short tour of the city was soooo knowledgeable about the city history as well as the Park's history."

"Enjoyed a very informative tour of this very beautiful area ,learning about the Saxman tribe, their way of life and the seeing the most intricate carvings of numerous totem poles.""We had a lovely tour of the place, with an orientation film and talk, a walk through a bit of temperate rainforest, a visit to the clan house with a sampling of Tlingit dances, and a visit to the carving center."

"There are several tours that will take you to the southern part of the island, and this is a great place to stop to see bears, eagles and harbor seals!""This was our last port of call from our cruise and we had yet to see a bear (or much else in the way of wildlife) Broseph was our bus guide from the cruise ship to Herring Cove."
