We enjoyed our food tour with our lovely guide Andrea. We experienced new fruits, amazing Costa Rican tamales and was taught the art of making a a proper pour over of local coffee. This tour takes you around the hustle and bustle of the central market. We stopped at an ice cream vendor for a unique flavored ice cream. The only flavor they have been selling since the early 1900s. It was delicious. This tour also includes stops at a couple of historical spots such as the cathedral and national theater. Time well spent for an afternoon.

Daniel was absolutely amazing. He was everything a guide should be and definitely elevated our experience with his kindness, patience, and overall knowledge. He made sure our small group had a perfect day even though the volcano was closed for the day due to eruptions. Highlight of our trip!

Daniel was a wonderful tour guide. I was late to the start, but I was able to call Daniel and the group came back and got me up so I was able to see everything. The cocktails and dinner part at the end was really really fun, and the food was delicious. Now I’m considering giving up Mojitos for Guajitos—the cas (guava juice) is fantastic.

Really enjoyed our tour with Mélissa from Oropopo. Her knowledge of the flora and fauna of San Jose University made it very engaging. We managed to see Montezuma Oropendola, Great Kiskadee, Hoffman's Woodpecker, Lesson's Motmot, Clay-Coloured Thrush, Rufous-Collared Sparrow, two Three-Toed Sloths etc. Really amazing way to spend a morning in the city. Thank you

Well run operation. Every activity is well planned and the facilities were clean. The meals were enjoyable and we appreciated our tour guide’s professionalism.

I appreciate Mauricio knowledge and expertise in helping us learn about cacao. I enjoyed the class very much and am happy with the production of chocolate bars that we made. Indeed a fun class to take

Stopped by for a few hours while driving from San Jose to La Fortuna. Beautiful setting high up in the mountains with lovely gardens and a variety of rehab/rescue animals. Also a fair number of coatis roaming about on the path the waterfall.

Tip - the lunch at the restaurant by reception is much nicer than the buffet. Quieter, not much more expensive and a lovely view across the valley.

The views look nothing like the photos on your ad. Nevertheless, it is an amazing view. I suggest you list photos that resemble the view as it is now. Rachel does a great job of.coordinating and sharing key facts in both languages. The visit to the basicala was interesting as well

Wonderful tour. The guy pointed out several slots that we could not spot without assistance. He was able to assist us with taking pictures through the magnifier/telescope and he knew a lot about their nature and how they lived.

We added on the sugarcane/chocolate/coffee tour as well. We had the same tour guide. He told us all about how they made the coffee, sugarcane and chocolate, and even we had the experience of trying to grind ourselves very knowledgeable and great samples.

Absolutely love it! Our whole family did zip line together, so much fun! I was very nervous at the beginning, but it’s very safe. Then I did chocolate Experience, I got hangs on experience. the rest of my family did horseback riding, they loved it, but they didn’t get chance to swimming in the nature pool. I would recommend it.

This was 10000% a must while visiting Costa Rica!! Zip lining was something on my bucket list and I’m so glad I finally got the courage to do it. The staff here is absolutely wonderful, kind, & supportive. They are with you everything step of the way calming every doubt, while also making it so fun. This was an incredible experience!!!

This tour is a good way to see some of the sites around San Jose and also see the good and bad parts of the downtown area. Most of the travel is done in the double decker bus. You get to visit the national art museum (used to be the original airport terminal, the cathedral, national theatre (you only get to see the foyer area), visit the national monument and then visit a local market. After this you go to lunch and have a traditional dish, which was nice and then the final stop is the national gold museum, which for me was the highlight of the tour.
