This island exudes such a nice energy. Its orange roof tiles and houses with Mediterranean architecture add a pop of color and charm to its pedestrian streets and old town. The restaurants strip on the walkway by the sea is a beautiful walk. The old town, its churches and tower are worth the detour as well. It is as vibrant during the day as in the evening, without being (yet) overcrowded! One of our best stops in Croatia.

Lovely winery on the slopes of Lombarda overlooking the small coastal village and Adriatic Sea. When we visited the winery offered three tasting options: three wines for 50KN, or two different wine tastings with appetizers for 90KN. We opted for the wine and appetizer which was actually a small meal of local products. Our favorite wine was a red Plavac Mail, aged in Italian/Croatian oak and in the bottle for one year. Delicious! The second favorite was the white Grk local grown and one a few female vines requiring pollination. We biked to the winery above it on a small narrow and at times steep road, but you can bike along a small road below the winery. This is winery is worth the visit and also near three other Lombarda wineries.

My boyfriend and I climbed up the Bell Tower for around 3 euros each and it was a great experience. The staircase was incredibly narrow, we were both a bit scared if truth be told. However, the views of the town from the top were absolutely incredible. Well worth it.

The beach was very very nice. Beautiful place to visit. There are 2 bars and a restaurant. There is an option to rent a kayak and a surfing board.

We found this little family owned winery on our search for a wine tasting in the region of Korčula. We booked a time slot in advance by calling the phone numbers we found on the Internet. When we arrived, we firstly got a short introduction (in very good german) into the production of the different wine types. After that we sat down in front of the winery and tasted the three wines. On the side we had a plate with antipasti (cheese, ham, anchioves, etc.) which were delicious. The wines also tasted excellent. The owner himself told us some interesting story's about the wines and the region. All in all it was a perfect afternoon and we of course took some bottles to drink at home with us. Definitely worth a visit.

The boat trip in itself was lovely. On this small island there was a bit more privacy than in the bigger island of Korcula, even though you were not alone. Walking trails were nice, and beaches were lovely for swimming or snorkeling. Small restaurant covered our needs for food, drinks and toilet. We felt it was a good idea to have our own water and some snacks, as several beaches are situated a few hundred meters from the restaurant.

My boyfriend and I kayaked to this island. We probably spent around an hour here walking around and watching the deer which was amazing. There is an old monastery which was quite cool to see. There wasn't any cafes or anything but I think that added to the whole experience of the island.
I heard about a girl getting hurt by one of the deer because she scared it when she was feeding it, follow the signs and don't feed them would be my tip!

My boyfriend and I loved walking around the walls of Korcula Old Town, it really makes the place unique and so, so beautiful. What an amazing, unspoilt town with a great history.

A sandy beach is pretty rare in Croatia but this was a nice shallow sandy beach. This was the kind of beach where you could just hang out in the water and not worry about tramping on a sea urchin.

We popped into Vitis on the off chance of doing a wine tasting and although the winery didn't open until 1pm the young lady was very helpful and let us taste 3 wines. They were all great. The location was very relaxing and pretty. We would highly recommend a visit if u r in the area.
    Thanks again for accommodating us.

Interesting space. Definitely worth an hour or so, just to see the building itself if not the exhibits.
