- julie260Paignton, UK132 contributionsYou book this on their website. Tours are 9:30 and 13:30. We had an English speaking guide and shared him with some Dutch people. We took an Uber there and found our own way back using the local bus which connected to the BRT Metro bus. Surprisingly straightforward. Gardens and the house are spectacular and the tour was very well organised.Took about 1:5 hours. Cheap as well 10 reals entry, or half price if over 60! Don't miss it if you are in Rio area.Written 2 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Julian GLagos, Portugal56 contributionsWe went with uber to alto da boa vista. The Entrance to the part of the tijuca national park is near the safari hostel. From there we went to the visitors' center where you can get some maps of possible hikes. We deceided to do a tour up to tijuca peak (pico do tijuca) and then countinue further to Cachoeira Das Almas. This tour takes about 5 hours, needs good shoes and physical fitness. The view from tijuca peak is amazing; even on somewhat cloudy days.Written 30 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RoamerWanderer89New Delhi, India632 contributionsA good place to spent your leisure time at. There is no crowd here to disturb you from the city noise.Written 14 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LTBPlymouth, UK88 contributionsIt is worth looking at following the Rio Games. Some great sporting history was made here. As long as the weather is great, would make a great day out.Written 15 December 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Magnar MoOslo, Norway688 contributionsThis museum is about to open in a new location. In the small old one there is very little to see, esoecially for people from abroad. A total waste of time and taxi money.Written 11 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
