Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great teachers, great invironment! Overlooking Porto da Barra beach. Have an acai or fresh fruit juice at the juice bar up the road after a workout.

I visited the school for two weeks to learn some brasilian portuguese. Due to reason that I visited the school during winter time in Salvador (off season) we had the Advantage of very small Groups on the different Levels with dedicated teachers.

On the other Hand it was difficult for the School to find enough participants for the cultural activites.

Getting some advise und great inspirations to make almost perfect shots in this beautyfull city, is a unique adventure. Im sure i will remember some of the composing hints, for the rest of my life. And Genaro knows some incredible places to take breathtaking pictures. And last but not least, he became a good friend, because he is a very nice and easy guy. Recomendend 100%!

She is the best guide ever! We are foodies so always exploring good and exotic restaurants, Ana showed us the best and non touristy places. Her tour is very well done, we saw the amazing points in this singular city. Also, she has optional tours that explain better the particular culture of Salvador.
If we go back for sure will be with her.

I spent about a week learning Portuguese at BrazilLink and it was wonderful. As a beginner to Brazilian Portuguese, I was a bit worried about what my stay in Salvador would be like. But I had an amazing experience! I had lessons and took part in cultural activities after classes. This was a great opportunity to immerse myself in language and the culture in Salvador. The teachers are very knowledgeable, kind and patient! Graça, Cristina and Ana - you are excellent teachers with a positive and warm energy that helped me to build my confidence in Portuguese. The location is fantastic – you are right next to the beach in Barra, Salvador. It is also great to learn with other students from different countries and make new friends. There are plenty of low cost hostels nearby too and you get discounts on a nearby hostel and restaurant if you are a BrazilLink student. I can’t recommend them highly enough – BrazilLink is small but mighty! Thank you all so much – hope to see you again next time I come to Salvador :) obrigada!
