    Enjoyable outing!
    Great driver but his microphone and speaker system didn’t work well so it was hard to hear him. Also one of the front seats was broken forcing elderly passengers to sit further back

    It was very interesting
    Our guide was good with the information about Mount Vernon and the D.C. area, I could have done without his extra commentary about traffic and the protesters. Mount Vernon was worth the 1/2 day trip.

    Definitely do the full tour!
    It was a great way to see and learn about the area. We loved the Mount Vernon portion! We didn't get to stop at many of the monuments in DC so we planned a trip the following day to visit the National Mall on our own. There's just so much to see!

    Great way to see the sites and surrounding areas!
    Biking is a great way to see the city. I rented for multiple days and the staff were great about extending my rental for an additional day for a reasonable price.

    Review of: Visit Mount Vernon by Bike: Self-guided Ride with Optional Boat Cruise Return
    Fun, Beautiful, Educational
    One of the most beautiful trail rides I’ve ridden! Close to 9 miles, it took several hours, stops with packed snacks/water to make it with time to spare to do the tour of Mt Vernon before Fall closing at 4. (Grandsons age 8, 9.) Not time or daylight to ride back. Was a highlight of the trip & great for energy release for boys vs museums. Only caveat - the tour of the Mt Vernon house per tour guide was questioned w our ticket.

    Review of: Day or Night Private DC Sightseeing Tour
    Great tour
    Everything was great. Easy to book. They communicated well and followed up with me day before the tour and morning of to confirm all details. Frank (our tour guide) called me when he was on the way to meet us.

    Frank was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us around D.C. at the perfect pace and always tried to get us as close as possible to minimize walking and make things as convenient for us as possible.

    This tour was an A+. Also, we had 8 of us so they came in a huge van which had plenty of space and was comfortable.

    Review of: Luxury Tours of Mount Vernon
    Private and perfect!!!
    This pandemic has changed my booking habits to where I am open to traveling but am searching for more “private” tours rather than be sitting with 10-50 strangers touring on an enclosed bus. I was lucky to find “Luxury Tours of Mount Veron” by Ken on a web search. I called Ken and in a matter of minutes, we confirmed our private 4 hours tour. YES, it costs a little more to book private but to me, it’s well worth the cost for the safety aspect (not sitting in a big bus with lots of passengers), not to mention that it’s YOUR tour alone. Ken is such a kind man and a wealth of knowledge of George Washington’s life and the area of beautiful Alexandria and Mount Vernon. Even if sat in a SUV, Ken was smart to use a headset that connected to his FM station so it was easy to hear him. The 4 hours tour went by so quickly! You can honestly spend the entire day at Mount Vernon. The learning & visitor center is very impressive. We really enjoyed our tour and highly recommend you book this private tour with Ken.     The departure point was easy to find, the tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. The group was small. Cold water available on the coach was a nice touch. Overall enjoyed the tour.

    Review of: Private SUV Tour of Washington DC
    Couldn't have been better
    Our family of 5 did a private SUV tour of the memorials at night. It was a huge hit with everyone in the family scoring A+ marks from our 12 year old twin boys and our 10 year old son. Corey was our driver and Brenda our guide and both were wonderful. The knowledge Brenda imparted at each location brough our experience to a whole new level. She did a lovely job of engaging the entire family in the experience and it was clear from the questions our boys were asking that they were paying close attention to what Brenda was saying at each site. One of our older boys was so activated by the tour, he pulled out a book on US history and was reading it at bedtime! It couldn't have been a bigger success. Thank you!

    Sam(anantha) was amazing!!!!! She was so animated and 100% committed into providing an immersive experience for all of us in the tour the other night. I would def recommend this tour and Sam to anyone looking to get their money’s worth!
