We came by to Kobe on our own as a day tour from Osaka (riding the JR Kobe line train here takes only 26 mins). We mainly came here to shop and Harborland is our target as it is a huge shopping mall with north and south wing, covering several storey with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants, including a huge AEON styled supermarket at the basement.

On the day of our visit, as it was a weekday and a rainy day from morning till night, the mall was not crowded and so we could shop leisurely and peacefully at our own pace. While there are shops that are positioned as "middle to high end", there are also "middle-lower" ones and so generally it caters to different customers base.

And trust us, we did grab quite a lot of stuff from here after spending about 3 hours here before heading on to our next destination!

So when you are in Kobe and a shopaholic, you may like to dropby to walk walk, see see!

This is an outlet mall that was actually worth going to.

The selection of stores was really decent. All the majors are here.

We went during the week, just after the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. There were relatively few people there. It wasn't raining, it wasn't hot - it was perfect weather to wander around.

Food options are quite minimal. There is one food court and a restaurant area that has four restaurants only.

The prices are not as cheap as we expected.

    Plenty of parking available.

    Stunning views from the terrace.
I would absolutely recommend visiting here in the evening to appreciate the views the most.

Made a stopover to the outlet on my way to Osaka. It took about an hour to and fro. I guess it is easier if you drive.

Selection of goods are not too bad if you have a brand in mind. Do take a look at the online map when you are there. We are unable to find a physical map.

The shuttle bus runs weekday and weekends. Check the bus timing online to plan your trip there.

The view of the marina and bridge is very scenic, a good photo spot.

If the weather is cooperating, this place is a nice place to take families.

The Guinness World Record's longest monkey bars are here. It is a large open, paved area. Kids are running around, skateboarding, unicycling and there are benches all around.

There is a large radio car track that is affiliated with the hobby store in the complex.

It was a beautiful sunny day, a tad windy but the view was spectacular.

It was kind of fashion shopping centre. However the structure was kind of narrow which it didn't help.
Again this shopping was mean for younger generation.
After all the goods were in more expensive side.
