I really loved it and recommend to try to you all. The food was really delicious. We booked first class. Only Excursion ticket for first class is 3500 ruble . It start at 8 pm until 11pm . Tye staff was very friendly and very professional. The views of Moscow’s landmarks, like the Kremlin, St. Basil’s Cathedral, and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, were stunning. The boat was comfortable, and the ride was smooth. The commentary was informative, but sometimes it was hard to hear over the noise. Moreover, our guide Alex interacts with audience, asks questions and has a peculiar sense of humor we enjoyed. I also want to commend our outstanding tour leader Ms. Oksana, who demonstrated extensive expertise and knowledge while explaining the landmarks and history of Moscow. She added a special touch to our experience, making the trip both informative and memorable.

- Takarasina2,277 contributionsI would've been a tad surprised if, say Museo de Historia de Madrid or the Historical Museum of Serbia had been established for aliens. Russia is not a prime international tourist destination so it's even more logical its cultural establishments target primarily its citizens while foreigners have - for peanuts! - both "live" and audio English-speaking (and not only English-speaking, by the way) guides at their disposal at virtually all most popular locations.
I visited that small but charming museum by the Red Square this January. Together with my wife. We're native Russian speakers.
Can't say its eminence struck us but it gives a fair picture of the country's development through the period it focuses upon. As to Russian modern history (revolutions, commies, gulags, etc.), there're plenty of opportunities to enjoy these gory niceties at other city institutions. In the State Central Museum of Contemporary History or the Museum of the History of GULAG, for example. To name just a few.

Even though I lived in Moscow and love history the insightful information provided by the guide indicated how much more there is to learn. The organization of the tour was impeccable and the guide and the assistance staff showed a very good command of Entlish.
