The view was spectacular. Wear winter clothes as temperatures are about 37 degrees Fahrenheit all year long. The wind is brutal. Better be over protected than cold. At Finca El Oasis we had breakfast one the way down. I do not recommend hiking up as it takes 6 hours.

This was an amazing experience! The absolute best waterfall hike I've ever done. Our tour guide Luis was amazing and knew every plant and creature in the forest. Extremely patient, safe and knowledgeable

We had an amazing experience- we took the honey tasting tour and in the butterfly house. Our guides were super- well informed and friendly. We did not take the longer tour but plan on doing so our next visit!

Jackie Langes, Panama Relocation Tours & Online guide is very comprehensive. Her expertise & knowledge of Panama is shown by the planning & preparation, leaving no detail overlooked. The assistance before & presently from the staff; Melissa & Dustin is priceless. They have assisted us with every concern, issue & question. They always answer the phone & or return our calls promptly. Tour guides, Jolynn Bryant & Jay Hawkins were patient, kind & informative. They answered a multitude of questions and shared their experiences. No question was unanswered or irrelevant. The bus driver Jorge was pleasant, drove safely & kept us on schedule. Every meal was provided by PRT. And the meals were delicious & bountiful. PRT gave me the experience of a lifetime. I met some wonderful people & made new friendships.

A great, relaxing excursion. A 20 minute boat ride with Eduardo to a sandy beach with adjacent reef. Snorkel, hang out in a hammock or take a swim. Fantastic lunch. We snorkeled and saw pufferfish, a tiger snake eel and a sea turtle, along with an array of beautiful, colorful fish.

We had a fabulous morning trek through the cloud forest and across 6 aerial walkways. The walk was fairly steep up and down but that made the experience even more rewarding.
Our guide Ingrid gave us excellent descriptions of everything, plants and birds and showed us photos on her phone when the actual birds weren’t present. It was a bit wet but then this was the cloud forest. Excellent experience not to be missed when in Boquete.

One of the best trips ever! The guides even brought a little picnic breakfast with coffee or hot chocolate and some extra coats that really helped! They were amazing and it made it even better that we didn’t have to hike all the way 😂😅

The Three day Chiriqui Highlands was truly a wonderful experience. Oscar is an outstanding tour guide filled with knowledge and insights. He, Megan and Rod provide a wealth information from visa options, to medical insurance and housing ideas. That added to meeting expats with a variety of perspectives and living styles, allowed us to understand our choices and feel comfortable making the best decision for our needs. I highly recommend this tour and Retire in Panama Tours to anyone considering relocating to Panamá.

A great visit to a coffee farm where they didn’t just show us how coffee grows but we went through the whole process of harvesting the coffee beans, hulling and roasted them and at the end preparing the coffee and tasting it. All hands on. Great and knowledgeable guide with ability to address all of our many questions. The experience was worth more than we paid for it.

We had a fantastic time doing the coffee tour with Carlos. They picked us up at our hotel and transported us to the Don Pepe coffee farm. Our guide was very entertaining and has a lot of knowledge on coffee, the history of Boquete and more! I would highly recommend a tour with Carlos!!

17 km of Cat 3 rapids.... a fabulous guide.... an awesome adventure. And this is coming from someone who has done w.r.r. in Thailand, Costa Rica, Brazil and Philippines. Take my word, it is fun in Panama. There is no Cat 4 because of a hydroelectric plant that cuts some of the current, but the rapids are constant.

My girlfriend and I were put in touch with Oscar, at Explora Ya, by our host of our AirB&B and we're very glad she did. Our experience was amazing.

We coordinated the trip, via e-mail, from the states. Oscar was very friendly and quick in getting back to us. We asked about hiking up the Volcan Baru to see the sunrise. Oscar was very polite and explained we would leave at 11pm, the night before, and hike for six hours. He then went on to explain another option of taking a Jeep ride up the mountain and leaving at 4am. That turned out to be a much wiser choice.

Oscar and the driver were right on time. The vehicle was in good shape and Oscar explained that it was a very rough, four-wheel drive rode. He was right.

Throughout the trip, Oscar emphasized safety, and made sure we were well strapped into the Jeep. At the top, he had hot coffee and sandwiches for us. A welcome snack at 0 degrees Celsius, on Panama's highest point, in September.

There were some folks who had hiked up and Oscar was happy to point out for them where the best viewing was. He also made sure people were safe and understood where the trail was.

If I could give Oscar credit for the weather, I would. It was near perfect; especially when one considers we were in the rainy season. The sunrise was awesome and, as high up as we were, we were able to see the Caribbean, near Bocas del Toro, in the East, and the Pacific, in the west. It was an amazing experience.

The real impressive thing, with Oscar, was his concern for how we left the area and assuring there was no trash left; by our group or the other people. Also, his concern for others who had hiked up. There was one solo hiker that we met on the way down, who was still working toward the summit. Oscar got his information and relayed it to the park ranger at the entrance. Watching all of this, I knew we were in good hands.

We definitely would recommend Oscar and his company, Exploration Ya. We plan on visiting Panama again and will definitely be booking additional trips with him.
