Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- S L6 contributionsThe hike was nothing special. It‘s rough.
Good shoes are needed.
But the view at the end was amazing!
Get sure also have warm clothes with you. During the night and in the morning it‘s cold.
Amazing viewWritten 18 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The trail there is pretty steep. There is a way to enter the water in multiple spots. The water was very cold. The owners of this property planted a lot of beautiful plants at the beginning of the trail.Written 16 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Terry Lou BMedicine Hat, Canada65 contributionsThis is an easy, relatively short hike with views of agricultural fields as well as cloud forest. Beautiful flowers along the way also. The waterfall at hike's end is spectacular. We very much enjoyed this experience.Written 26 October 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Traveler3 contributionsTo quote our 8 yer old “OMG that was amazing!” — a few hours earlier she had been terrified by the idea of riding horses. Our whole family of four (girls 8 and 10) had an unforgettable afternoon. The connection between Franklin and the horses was magical and put everyone at ease. We took a tranquil 2 hour loop through farmland and the girls both had a chance to try galloping. Highly recommended!Written 2 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Janet DJackson, TN252 contributionsWe did three tours with Boquete Outdoor Adventures. The employees were thoroughly professional and well informed. Jaime was our guide on the Pipeline Trail and to the Lost Waterfalls. The man has a wealth of information about the flora and fauna of the region, along with the ability to walk on a trail while looking in the treetops without falling down. My significant other and I agreed that we wouldn't have seen a tenth of what there was to observe without Jaime there to locate and point out wildlife and plants.
Pipeline Trail: Easy. Wildlife. Old-growth trees. Very busy.
Lost Waterfalls: Moderate. Lots of stairs. Some steep climbs. Muddy. Moderately busy. Three waterfalls.
Our third tour was the Island Tour, which took us to a national park in the Gulf of Chiriquí. Ed was our guide that day. We enjoyed the boat ride with Ed pointing out sights along the way, including howler monkeys. Then there was swimming, snorkeling, and paddle boarding from a beach, as well as a lunch featuring, among other things, an array of delicious fresh fruits.
A guide can make or break your tour. Jaime and Ed did an awesome job.Written 22 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The walk was fairly steep up and down but that made the experience even more rewarding.
Our guide Ingrid gave us excellent descriptions of everything, plants and birds and showed us photos on her phone when the actual birds weren’t present. It was a bit wet but then this was the cloud forest. Excellent experience not to be missed when in Boquete.Written 31 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There’s a lovely young woman that named Jamie. Her English is good. You really want a book a tree trek adventure through her. The zip line has 12 stations. Additionally, we booked the Whitewater rafting adventure, which was Super.Written 16 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Robin T1 contributionMy husband and I took two of the Full Adventure Tours and we loved both of them. The first was White Water rafting and it was amazing. Our guide was Freddie and with his son they kept us safe and were playful and skilled. We had a range of riders from a small child to over 70 and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The second tour was the coffee tour with Felix. I expected to go to a large operation with all the technology and automation of a modern assembly line. That is not at all what we got. This was so much better than that! This was a testament to invention, ingenuity and determination. Felix has a world of knowledge about coffee (and lots of other things) and gave us a detailed look at how the original owner problem solved and defied convention to make this amazing product. Then, of course, we got to taste coffee the way coffee should be. It was great.
Thank you, Full Adventures, for helping us make some very good memories.......Written 14 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This is so much more than a motorcycle ride because you truly immerse yourself into Panamá in a way that’s hard to do otherwise. The accommodations, transportation, and food were great. The guides were amazing! Would not hesitate to do another tour.
While this tour is okay for all skill levels, I would strongly recommend being at least an intermediate off-road rider in decent physical shape to really enjoy your time.Written 11 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - churrolivioPanama City, Panama178 contributions17 km of Cat 3 rapids.... a fabulous guide.... an awesome adventure. And this is coming from someone who has done w.r.r. in Thailand, Costa Rica, Brazil and Philippines. Take my word, it is fun in Panama. There is no Cat 4 because of a hydroelectric plant that cuts some of the current, but the rapids are constant.Written 10 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
