Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- ArbitusPanama City, Panama22 contributionsA young pianist prodigy, 14 year-old David Garcia, captured the hearts and astonished the minds of those who attended his amazing recital at the Biblioteca de Boquete in June 2022. His performance demonstrated his proficiency in interpreting a variety of musical works from around the world - including classics from Shubert, Chopin, and Prokofiev - and also those from composers highlighting Panama, Argentina, and Spain. An amazing and enriching experience!Written 26 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- krawnerChicago, IL1,990 contributionsOn Tuesdays at the BCP, this market is geared toward the growing expat community in Boquete. Sells lots of fresh produce (papayas, kale, carrots) and cooked / baked goods also ( cornmeal cakes, breads, chocolates, goat cheese). Sells used books in English and local artesan crafts (woven cloths, keychains, clothing). Priced more than a market for locals. A social gathering place for the gringos. Worth checking out briefly if you are in town in Tuesday. Pick up a snack here and possibly a souvenir.Written 4 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- worldexplorerteamAchern, Germany52 contributionsNice walk through an amazing cloud forest, however after crossing the first little stream you may be confronted by 2-3 very agressive dogs. On my way back I've met three people and one of them got bitten quite seriously. I'd say this risk is not worth the walk and I did not enjoy my way back despite being prepared with a stick and a rock in my hands. I had heard this from other people on my way to the summit too.Written 4 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - TravelBrianCOPearland, TX974 contributionsIf you are looking for American sports this is the place. It does get busy during big games. The food is typical American bar food and nothing special. Service is hit or miss.Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
