5/5 for the experience not the organisation.
Booked sky cab online for next day. Suppose to get two emails through but we didn’t get the second one, the one with code. Emailed them and told to take the confirmation of pay to counter 6, it would be fine.
Headed off next day. Couldn’t find counter 6 at first. It is a hut to the right of the main ticket counter. We were one of the first there, at about 9am, so queued as the counters don’t open until 9.30am. It was no problem as we had proof of pay and we were the first people to get on the cable car. It was a scary experience for me (hate heights), so relieved to get to the top. It was confusing at the top as the ticket for the bridge and glide was closed. After waiting for a while, we were told the bridge was closed as windy.
About 15 minutes later, it opened, cost RM16 for the bridge and glide each and we took the glide with no queueing and then got on the bridge, it was incredible and the views are outstanding. Although I kept my hand on the railing!!
The village area is a bit run down, had to pay for toilets and loo paper separately. We went to the German Corner (part of the food corner) for some lunch which I would highly recommend as excellent, food was cooked fresh and staff are friendly.
This is a must do if you come to Langkawi but the organisation of the place is confusing and could be improved. But do go early when it opens, when we left at midday, it was heaving!

Fantastic inexpensive place, at times breath taking. Unfortunately not for everyone; not suitable for any walking disability (please note). The steps , if you choose this way, are for the fit and The Slide, a car between base and bridge, to save you the effort, is very slow with a sole car carrying about 8 pax at the time. Need patience and time to complete. Still highly recommended.

Well-kept beach and soft sands offering many water activities. Diverse selection of food from stalls and restaurant. Chenang is a busy area during holiday.

This is basically a Mangrove Tour on a speedboat with a number of activities to add on. The mangroves itself were beautiful and you get to see eagles, Brahmani Kites and long tailed macaques (monkeys). The Bat Cave is average with more tourists and monkeys sightings than actual bats. Ask you criss cross the sea there a number of 'created' tourist sights like Gorilla Mountain and Whale Island. The worst of the lot being floating fish farm. This is basically an enforced lunch. All boats stop at their designated fish farms. Either you buy lunch with your mangrove tour or you order there. As vegetarians we found nothing to eat. The fish farm tour is a mere formality showing you 5-6 types of fishes. If you take the longer tour then you go out towards the Andaman Sea from where you can see Thailand. We were lucky enough to spot several dolphins there and this was definitely the highlight of our tour. But I am told dolphins are not spotted as regularly. All in all the basic mangrove tour package will take about 2 hours and the one with the sea and fish farm tours about 4 hours. There is no point booking in advance as rates are fixed and on display at the pier. Boats go out on trips every half an hour so not a very long waiting time also.

A truly beautiful beach. We were lucky enough to experience it when it was very quiet on a stunning day.
The view is gorgeous and the sea is the perfect temperature.
There are shops and food places right on the beach which is really useful.

Nice waterfall, good fun to swim and slide down the rocks. When eating some crackers, monkeys stole the food straight from my hands and the bigger monkeys (males?) got really aggresive against our little kids. They attacked/jumped into them and really scared our little ones. Be aware!

Loved this place even though the place is not tht big. Kids will diffidently love this place and well maintain. Spend 1/2 day here, would say one of the best in Malaysia for wild life to explore and relax with kids. Ticket price is reasonable.

Entry to Art In Paradise is included with your Sky Cable tickets. Its located on one side of the Oriental Village. Its basically only for those who want to click pictures. There are a number of 3D arts in each section with instructions and spots marked to click photos. You can get some really cool photos if you have time to spare. At the end there is a 3D light and sound show which can also be seen.

Nice place to go with kids. For the first time we met with penguins and that was the main attraction of this place. But we expected more from here! Except the penguins other underwater sections were not that rich as we expected to be! Aquaria in KL is far far better than Langkawi’s Underwater World. And as they have penguins they should arrange for penguins show and show with other sea animals like seals and dolphins. More it was not fully satisfying comparing the amount of ticket price!

This is an iconic Langkawi statue...It' at the jetty so you can't miss it. It does get crowded in the evening...we went on Friday so was kind of empty

This is the nicest waterfall we visited, if you have limited mobility do NOT visit, the walk olio is steep and there are several steps missing which make it difficult to get up and down

The waterfall it’s self is beautiful, the water is fairly cold, we went about 10am and had it to ours lives.

    The monkeys were rascals

I think Pasir Tengkorak really needs some TLC from the authorities. The toilets were locked and the showers were not working when I was there. But that said, this little beach is GREAT for a morning swim, when the waves aren't too big. The sand is incredibly soft too. It's also far away from touristy areas, which means you'll get to enjoy more of the beach! Beach bums will definitely LOVE this place. P/S: I came here during the low season, so maybe your experience will be different at different times of the year.

Happened to stay at a nearby hotel when we passed by the night market at around 5pm. All the vans were about to set up their stalls. So i checked with google and it said that sunday nights, the night market will happen here. So with an empty stomach we drove there, it was super near but we have an infant with us so we drove.. Thankfully the school opposite the night market was open for the night market patrons to park at a fee of Rm 2. Parking at the sides require skills which im not equiped with.

The night market or "Pasar malam" in Malay, was not as huge as others but it was enough to go through their local dishes. First in line was the appam balik filled with crushed peanuts, sugar and sweet corn. A popular food item there which we queued (a long queue) was the Nasi Kandar with ayam berempah. Many stalls selling Ayam percik ( marinated chicken barbecued and usually eaten with their sauce (peanut or sambal sauce). We also bought Nasi kukus with ayam berempah (steamed rice with spiced fried chicken) for the baby. Other stalls selling Yong taufu, nuggets/fishball on sticks. Overall, the Nasi kandar was worth it. And the wifey loves the food there.
