The tour was amazing! We visited several very interesting places and the tour guide was very thorough in her explanation throughout the tour. Nikko is beautiful and incredible, we learned a lot about the Japanese culture and its traditions. On one of the stops in the lake, we even got to see snow! Which was surprising since we weren't expecting it!

We personally had bought the tour without the food, but once we got to the restaurant, we decided to pay for it and it was the best decision ever! The food was tradicional Japanese and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend you buy the tour with the food included.

Also, the tour guide between places would pase the time by teaching us either Japanese words, Origami, history, and she even showed us a video of a typical day for a Foreigner in Tokyo, which was awesome.

the only thing I would recommend they improve is their English, since our guide was kind of hard to understand some times. Other than that, excellent tour! Highly recommend it!

We had excellent experience with Yoki on November 30th 2019 when we went to Nikko. First thing - Yoki is very organized. All trip was well planned and executed. He scheduled all public transport we were supposed to use and kept us on track. The selection of the lunch place he picked (Marple restaurant) was perfect. Food was delicious and the whole place was charming.
Overall Nikko worth the entire day. So many things to see - breathtaking views, mountains, waterfall, ride on the rope way, Toshogu shrine (just stunning beauty), etc. It was our last day of Japan so i really enjoyed a good mix of beautiful nature scenes and historical places.
    Very recommended!

It was amazing made even more amazing by my tour guide. This was a last minute decision and wasn’t sure if it would happen because of COVID. I knew nothing about NIKKO and Yumiko Sano taught me so much history. It was so interesting. She also asked if I wanted to see some beautiful waterfalls. This trip was priceless and I will definitely be back and will request for Yumi.

My guide, Ikuko-ssn, met me at my hotel where we discussed a plan for our half day guided trip. She incorporated my wishes and showed great flexibility as to what we saw in Nikko and how. Thus our plan was to focus on the temples and shrines of Nikko and we would walk everywhere. However if I’d have desired it she’d have got a bus or taken me somewhere else. I found her to be very informative and flexible. She had lots of good suggestions including what restaurant and dish to try as well as a free bus pass promotion. Highly recommended!!

The pass include trains from Asakusa to Nikko and back and included also the ropeway (cable car) and lake cruise at Chuzenji (But the cruise is closed on winter from 1 Dec).

Please note the train in the pass is NOT a direct train, need to change train like 2 times, but it was not difficult. To have a direct train, one need to top the fare at Asakusa Station, which I think it is not really necessary. The journey is only shorten by about 20 minutes compares to non-direct trains. But for ease of mind you may opt for upgrade to direct train. This was not specified in the pass during my booking.

This was our second trip touring with our wonderful guide Khizer. We had arrived in to Tokyo amidst all the shutdowns surrounding CoronaVirus fears. Khizer knew what was open and sent me a list of what we could choose from for our day. We chose the Toshugu Shrine complex in Nikko and the Edo Wonderland experience for the day. Both were amazing and having Khizer there with us made it that more enjoyable. He is so kind and accommodating and even offered to help us with information beyond our last day with him. It could have been a very stressful time but he made it a memorable experience that begs for your return to experience more. Hope to see you again soon Khizer!

We booked a day trip in Nikko with Ohayo Travel and highly recommend it. It was really convenient to have a private car and we managed to see many sights as a result. The tour guide/ driver was polite and punctual, and gave us good suggestions at each spot to enhance our experience.

Shawn and Becki are fantastic tour guides. Their knowledge and love of Japan was evident in the carefully planned tour we took with them. Travel by subway and train was easy and fun and let us experience Japan the way the locals do. Our small group of seven people was extremely compatible. The accommodations were first rate, and the included meals were excellent. Our group had an interest in Japanese textiles and crafts so Shawn and Becki went out of their way to adapt the itinerary to accommodate this. If you are looking for a tour that gives you a good overview of Japan, I highly recommend Japan and More.
