Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- LeisaG15 contributionsWe walked along the beach to the Temple of Apollo as we could see it from the beach at our hotel. Lovely walk in the afternoon, all the ruins are amazing with all the glass floors. Walk round the harbour and into the town and see all the ancient ruins. There is lots of information so you can understand what you are looking at. It's definitely worth an afternoon walk.
You can walk along the beach or get a 'bus' a lot cheaper than the 50 euros plus your holiday rep will want to charge you for one of their organised tours!Written 2 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is the first ruin that you will see after going through the parking lot. Excavations and restoration of the site is ongoing.Written 31 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Mark_DornochDornoch, UK1,491 contributionsBridge rebuilt the 2nd time in 1998 with nice limestone slabs. Original bridge built in Roman times and some of it is still visible. Rebuilt in 13th century by the Selchuks. Impressive structure.Written 12 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
