So much history in this area, relatively unspoilt and work being done to maintain it.
Lively to stroll and visit and enjoy the winter sun.

Small but lots of history and well organised faculty. Great to see the history and so close to modern luxury hotels. Prices for the shop are good downside but then which museum isn’t.

Such stunning scenery but we literally were unable to enjoy it due to tour harassment.
We self drove to the park intending to have a bit of a wander about a picnic and a swim in the river. When we got to the national park car park we were almost run off the road by a man on a scooter. He for ed us into a lay by. When we opened the window then commenced the harassment about rafting trips.
This happened everywhere we tried to go. The rafting companies have basically barricaded off most of the swim able area of the river so you can't access. When we stopped for photos by the bridge we must have been asked by at least 4 different people one of them multiple times if we wanted a bit trip. NO I DONT WANT A RAFTING TRIP. We eventually managed to get near the river for a swim but were for ed to a faster flowing area.
You then had to dive out of the way of the constant stream of rafting trips coming down. Shouting and screaming and splashing water.
The water is snow melt so it's bloody freezing. Just so you are aware. To access the car park you a actually have to cross the lower roman bridge it's very narrow and quite nerve racking.

We came here looking for peace and quiet and scenery it's a shame its been ruined by tourists.

Beautiful place. We visited as part of a 'mixtour' so we're only given about twenty minutes but would happily have spent two or three hours here.
There were a few gift shops and a restaurant and also refreshment stands.
Just 1 euro to get in.

Getting my steps in from our hotel, lovely area which was quiet in the winter. Peaceful to walk around and see the old ruins.

Visiting the canyon was an enchanting experience that left me in awe of Mother Nature's masterpiece. Nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes and boasting an array of natural wonders, Tazi Kanyonu Canyon proved to be a hidden gem.
The first thing that struck me upon arriving at Tazi Kanyonu Canyon was the sheer magnificence of its scenery. Towering cliffs, adorned with vibrant greenery and sprinkled with colorful wildflowers, embraced the narrow canyon floor. The glistening stream flowing through the heart of the canyon added a sense of serenity and beauty to the already picturesque surroundings.

The absence of large crowds allowed for a more intimate experience, as I could listen to the gentle rustling of leaves and the soft murmur of the stream without any distractions.

If you're craving an authentic and unforgettable experience in the lap of nature, Tazi Kanyonu Canyon is an absolute must-visit destination. I left the canyon with a sense of gratitude for having witnessed such natural beauty and a desire to return someday.
