What travellers are saying
- IlovetheatreBirmingham, UK287 contributionsThis is an amazing place to wander around the cobbled narrow alleys and streets. So many wonderful bars and restaurants and reasonable too. Don't miss Hadrian's Gate.Written 9 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nkechi NWashington DC, DC687 contributionsVisited the Lower Duden by land with a tour. It is a beautiful scene with a bright rainbow caused by the mist.
We grabbed some waters and sat on benches and just took it all in. Very prettyWritten 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - CardiffLou21Cardiff, UK4 contributionsAbsolutely breath taking.
An extremely long and hard alk to the main waterfall so be warned if walking is not your strongest point.
The pools are there for you to swim in but bitterly cold and the main waterfall is worth the walk if you can do it... It is out of this worldWritten 23 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Tristan C21 contributionsHaving stayed in the Antalya area for a week and visited several sites, I left Perge with the location with the full package, theatre, stadium and something the others tend not to have streets full of columns. You get more of a sense of how it used to be. At the far end, it’s worth going up the hill to the view point and looking back. Also don’t forget to pop across the road by the car park to the theatre. If you are only going to do one ancient city in the area, visit here.Written 15 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- rdmjrPinehurst, NC170 contributionsimpressive collection of artifacts, many beautiful statues and crypts from the ruins of Perge. worth a visit of 1 to 2 hoursWritten 6 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AyeshaMalawi49 contributionsBooked on viator, our tour guides picked us up , along with a few other people. Was nice to meet people from.different counties, and we had a good time during our journey.
Breathtaking scenery at the waterfall.
Felt un real. Just like a fairytale place.
Peaceful place and highly recommended.
Food on site restaurants is reasonably priced and deliciousWritten 18 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - DavidSingapore, Singapore174 contributionsA nicely done up area of about 5km long beach. Perfect area for cycle and jogging and of course beach activities. Plenty of restaurants and shops along this areaWritten 18 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- rdmjrPinehurst, NC170 contributionsthis is a picturesque city built in the mountains and left to nature as a park. Requires hiking and negotiating rocks, fun if you like hiking/climbing and beautiful settingWritten 6 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- jam132004Truro, UK22 contributionsWe spent a lovely day exploring old town Antalya. The marina is more like a little port with cafés around the edge. As we went in March it was very quiet but a beautiful day. The old town had lots of winding lanes with little shops and plenty of restaurants.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area.Written 21 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - shaeda aLondon, UK36 contributionsI took my mother in a wheelchair, we didn’t book an excursion as the package deal didn’t suit her. I took a taxi from the city centre in Antalya to this destination- 309 lira’s. The entry was 115 lira each. The staff were very helpful in pushing mum up the slope. We had a car to ourselves as the wheelchair took up the space. Amazing views with the a restaurant at the top.
There is two areas to eat! Fresh orange juice and my mother loved it. You can stay as long as you like once up there. We stayed 2.5 hours! We were helped all the way and the Turkish hospitality was true to its word!
This is a must visit place!Written 13 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - kickinabootScotland113 contributionsWe went here as part of a package ticket. Aquarium is fairly small but modern and well laid out. A decent variety of sealife although the information by the tanks didn’t always seem to reflect the marine life within. The underwater tunnel is the highlight of the facility, especially at feeding time. It is a fairly expensive attraction even as part of the combination ticket as all the venues are actually quite small but still had a good few hours at the centre. Worth it if you’re in the area.Written 19 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- krubeshAl Ain, United Arab Emirates231 contributionsWhen there are ruins and treasues to be explored, who would want to spend their time in a mall? I guess the good thing about this mall is they have a decathlon store. So go get some explorer's clothes and head out.Written 25 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Nkechi NWashington DC, DC687 contributionsHadrians gate is worth a stop for some photos. It is quite beautiful despite its age.
Read a little about its history before you go so you know what youre looking atWritten 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mike ste11 contributionsGreat selection of shops and plenty of food options too. It was very quiet which suited us. There must’ve been 10/15 other shoppers around us for the entire time. Only spent 1 or 2 hours in here, would’ve liked to have had more to do to keep us longerWritten 5 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RoyaleLondon, UK94 contributionsTo get to this beach is directly on the D400 coastal road, amazing views! Depending on what direction you are coming from there is a little bridge connecting 2 mountains, looks spectacular. To access the beach you must walk down around 200 stairs which isnt too bad. Disabled people in a wheelchair cannot get here which is a real shame, disabled access would be a plus. I have a disability but used a walking stick to help me which wasnt too bad. You are able to rest on a small foot bridge halfway down and admire the beauty of this beach cove. There is a changing area, toilets and showers with mirrors and a place to wash hands. There are signs to wear mask and there is sanitiser to use freely. Once you get to the beach however, there are big stones and pebbles so be careful when walking, as you get closer to the sea, it turns to sand, not the softess but nice nontheless. The sun loungers are not that comfortable so be sure to bring comfy towels to lie on for extra cushioning. It is HOT down there and the sea is crystal clear with visible tiny fish so bring a snorkel kit if you like. Its best to get there early if you want a nice view and have unobstructed views of sea, best times is to get there b4 9am so you can get a nice spot without rushing. All in all a great relaxing beautiful beach, a must visit if you are in Kalkan.Written 18 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
