Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Anton F7 contributionsA very large and beautiful park with a variety of vegetation. In some places, the scenery resembles Australia. A lot of wild geese, ducks and swans. Clean and comfortable public toilets, soda machines, and an excellent playgroundWritten 17 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BensionqWest New York, NJ495 contributionsWe visited the zoo on Sept 22 for my grandniece; by the time we reached the zoo she had fallen asleep, and we had to wake her up. It was worth it since we saw all kinds of animals there; we drove slowly and watched tigers, lions zebra, deer, and many others.
Surprisingly the place is huge.Written 9 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MommyLakewood, NJ22 contributionsThis is a little gem. We went today and it was boiling hot, however, there were many shady areas available in the cactus garden. The cacti are plentiful and varied, sometimes with a view of skyscrapers in the background. We saw sunbirds and jackals.Written 4 August 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sofi NSAthens, Greece23,232 contributionsThe Zoological garden is part of the main Ramat Gan complex comprising a Zoo and a free animal area called Safari. Most visitors come with their own cars which is advisable as far as I have seen. If you come without a car you go to the ticket booth (jumping in front of the cars waiting in line) and purchase an additional seat on the safari van (some 16 seat van). The price for non citizens for 4 persons is 320 NIS (some 86 USD) for entrance and van spots.
The van drives through the safari area and then reaches the Zoo entrance where you step out and walk through the Zoo area. When you finish your tour you can step back into the van to take you to the main entrance again. There are toilets (relatively OK) a food kiosk, gift shop and info booth in the entrance. There are more toilets inside but usually smaller and could have a waiting queue so is advisable to go prior to your entrance. The most impressive part was the giraffes, four of them being fed while we were there, the Elephants (African & Asian) and the Apes (Chimps, Gorillas, Macaques etc). We did not see the reptiles but the rest of the exhibits where pretty interesting. A minimum of 2 hours is required but you could spend as much as 4 in relaxed pace. There are more food kiosks inside. You can also rent an electric golf car if you don't feel like walking. Overall the Zoo was the best part since the safari does not always offer the best view to the animals.

Both are small but quite interesting and it's a great experience visiting them together. One museum hosts quite a few Russian 20th century paintings while the other exhibits various interesting artifacts mainly from 17th to 19th century Japan and China. Also check out their special exhibitions before visiting. Admission fee is only 20 NIS and includes in it a weekly pass to other Ramat Gan museums.Written 29 May 2014This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve VPleasanton, CA232 contributionsNice presentation with headset narration. Headset could use an update to come on as you approach an area instead of having to enter every installation.
Architecturally interesting as well. Several buildings to see. Outdoor installments that keep you moving from building to building with plenty to see. If you listened to every bit of the recordings and saw every single display, you could easily spend an entire day here. I wouldn’t suggest that but we’ll worth spending 3 hours.Written 30 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. While not mind-blowing, the exhibition was lovely.
