What travellers are saying
- OnAir8005701 contributionAmazing snorkeling trip for my husband and I, with Amr Ahmed, to Ras Mohammed. Amr is the nicest guy, he cares about the people who are on a trip with him. And he makes sure we are comfortable and safe all the time, giving safety instructions before we go in the water, and he reads us well in the water, so we don’t get in over our heads.
He is great guide, has a lot of knowledge and experience of the water, and the surrounding national park.
Don’t hesitate to book him if you want a private trip away from the crowds.

This shopping centre and restaurant complex is owned by the Savoy chain, so the outlets are clean and well managed. Pulling passers-by into shops, which happens elsewhere in Egypt is prohibited here, so the shopping experience is far more relaxed. It feels very safe, offers plenty of good quality restaurants, including Chinese, Thai, Indian, Greek, Turkish, Lebanese, Teppenaki, a steak house and a pub.
It's well worth a visit.Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. He was so accommodating especially when I had to change days at the last minute and it was super easy to arrange everything with him through WhatsApp +20 101 844 0161.
He picked us up from our hotel in Dahab on time and took us to the Blue Hole. He went through everything we needed to know before we went into the water and provided us with wetsuits, fins and goggles. The wetsuits were an excellent choice as we saw many other companies there who weren't providing wetsuits and in February the water was still a little chilly.
The Blue Hole is stunning. We saw so many fish and different types of coral. We spent just under an hour in the water which was plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. Ahmed also took many photos and videos of us snorkeling so that we could just enjoy the moment.
After a successful trip we then had a wonderful lunch in Dahab and then drove for about 40 minutes to see the canyons. Wow! So beautiful and we got to have tea with a local Bedouin family who live in the desert. The jeep ride to and from the canyons was also a fun off road experience...hold on! Before heading back to our hotel, Ahmed gave us some wonderful mango juice...the best I have ever had. This was a nice touch to end the day.
We had a brilliant day and if you are looking for a wise guide with lots of diving/snorkeling experience then Ahmed is your man.Written 28 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Esther van der VeerSharm El Sheikh, Egypt8 contributionsfor those complaining about the rocks and corals on the way in: try accessing it from El Fanar or Cuba Lounge. - woodie49Brighton, UK798 contributionsUnlike the Al Sahaba Mosque, we were not permitted to go inside. Thats ok, we respect this. It is, we were told, the largest Mosque in Sharm.Written 15 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- s mSC360 contributionsThe boardwalk itself is sandwiched between reports and their private beach, there is on 'public beach' but at a cost. There are a disproportionate number of Italian restaurants. Otherwise the boardwalk itself is boring. The road In front of the resorts and the side streets have many shops, but overpriced for the resorts compared to other parts of Sharm.Written 4 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - woodie49Brighton, UK798 contributionsWe visited the market and Mosque as part ot a TUI Sharm Tour. A lovely setting as darkness falls. Lots of stalls and shops selling loccal wares. We were also able to go inside the Mosque.Written 15 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

For the stargazing our guide was very funny making jokes that were humorous to all and landed everytime whilst explaining in detail astronomical occurances.
