Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very good beach in Dubai to spend a day with family . It is relatively less crowded compared to some of the other public beaches, there are several kite surfers and people just relaxing. It also has a public library which is great for spending some quality time.

Tourist beach, not dangerous. You can do also a nice walk or rest. As it is free, you can decide to sunbathing and then do a nice walk on the beach. Possibility to do a camel ride. Nice view.

Great for long walks/runs and bike rides. The Careem bike station is literally around every corner. We spent an evening cycling from Safa park to Meydan, great fun for a group of friends or active family and costs barely anything. One of my favorites in Dubia

Museum is wonderfully designed. We especially liked the library which has a good collection of historical books and photographs, enlightening us on the history and culture of the country. However, I was expecting more exhibits on the history but the displays lack depth & context for a foreigner.

I walked around this mall and it's quite nice and not too big. It has a nice food court up the top too and many good shops and it looks nice.

This is a mall located just behind the beach which has improved a lot recently.

There is a very cool large sculpture of a Jaguar’s head at the entrance and paws elsewhere in the mall.

There is a big Carrefour and various other stores and F&B outlets within the mall, including Block 92 and Wafi restaurant in the process of being fitted out.

This is a nice little mall in Jumeirah, just behind La Mer.

There are a few shops inside, including pharmacy and grocery store and a large Shakespeare and Co coffee shop at one of the entrances.

The mall has a pleasant design inside, with water features and an open feel.

A good alternative to some of the larger malls in Dubai.

The Palm Strip Centre cannot be called a shopping mall, particularly by Dubai's humongous standards! It is a two-storey building, with some high-end stores and an art gallery. Primarily catering to western expats, the only other claim to fame for this centre is that it is directly opposite the famous Jumeirah Mosque and is a good vantage point.

Took my Mum and Uncle who are visiting me here today as my Mum asked to go to an art gallery. I said we don’t really have them here in Dubai but I was wrong! After a bit of online searching Pro Art stood out as worth a visit. It is a large gallery bursting with amazing pieces including Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol, Dali and Picasso. We were given a tour by a lovely gentleman who knew the story of every piece and really brought our experience to life. Highly recommended!

There is no limit to the number of duty free shops at Dubai Airport. We visited this one at Concourse B. They have helpful staff that will point out promotions on items. Of course they are trying to sell them also. But on average, the prices are reasonable and much less than other Duty Free Shops. We left Zurich and was happy to have waited as we made a connecting flight in Dubai and did shopping there for much less than Zurich. At most times, the shops will be busy so give yourself time. All credit cards and foreign currency accepted. Wheelchair accessible.

Visiting different art galeries in Dubai you get nice impresion of taste that has to grow. Some galeries show special local, artists, otters just sell post internationale art. The most beautifull galeries combine ancient objecten like wooden farmdoors with contemporary art.

The Majlis Ghorfat Umm Al Sheif is located near the Jumeirah coastal road in Dubai and is easily accessible by public transport. This structure, though small, carries historical significance as the summer residence of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the erstwhile ruler of Dubai and father of the current Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The entrance and walking path are surrounded by palm trees. The majlis is a two storeyed structure, with the upper floor having the majlis and two smaller rooms. The Majlis was where the Sheikh would often hold discussions with his advisers. One can see a good collection of the diwans etc. used in those days.
