- Zanca F9 contributionsWhat an amazing experience at the Dubai creek. The old traditional boat was something from the past. I appreciate how the old look o still preserved. - Priscilla TjandraIndonesia29 contributionsAl Seef is very instagrammable spot in every corner. Very beautiful and I love the ambiance. A combination of old-and-new Dubai in Heritage District. This area is very clean enough. And so many restaurant and souvenir shops here.

It’s a curious place at al Seef. The museum is quite small, but very interesting and has lots of optical illusions to experience, it has several rooms, plenty of puzzles to solve - if you feel like doing that, you can accept the challenge. And also there are several places to take nice and interesting pictures to keep the visit to the museum in your memory. Kids usually like it a lot, because there are lots of exhibits which they can touch, and since everything is based on illusions, on our perception, they willingly explore, doesn’t matter if they are just 5 years old or 16. Glow garden has lit structures placed in a large park so you can enjoy this at the night. The dino park is next to it which has lots of dinosaur structures - kids would love it. Then there is a small magic park which is an indoor establishment full of illusions. Magic park has a separate ticket while glow garden and dino are same. I would suggest to skip magic park as its not really worth it.
Its a long walk in the park so be ready for it. There are stalls for shwarma/refreshments but they are extremely expensive.

Bastakia derives its name from the South Iran town of Bastak and consists of restored mud and stone houses , squares and narrow alley's as it existed in the 1890's when Dubai was a tiny pearl diving centre of World trade.
The "Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum centre for cultural understanding " which was the former ancestral home of the ruling Maktoum family of Dubai is now a rebuilt conserved museum that opened in 1998 and conducts local guided walking tours in Bastakia quarter educating tourists on the culture and customs of the U.A.E.Strolled along the narrow alleyway's entering a traditionally restored and historically preserved Emirati house.Visited the coin and philately museum and also sat in a traditional Emirati tent.From Bastakia Enclave walked to AL FAHIDI FORT now DUBAI MUSEUM and originally built in 1799 .This Fort situated on Al Fahidi street in the Bur Dubai locality is the oldest existing building in Dubai whose walls were made of coral and shell rubble from the sea and same cemented with lime.A visit to Bastakia enclave is mandatory to understand the historical development of Dubai.Written 24 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The seating is quite comfortable.
Only minor grouse is that everything is paid , even throwing balls to dolphin which I feel could have been given complimentary to kids. But then it's their pergorative so can't really complain much about it. Also, entrance requires a mandatory purchase of NOL card which is not of use to tourists. Ample parking area makes Gate 1 a preferred entry point, though I saw at least one more gate. This 52-hectare park can easily accommodate 400 people with access to several bar-be-cue facilities. One can bring food from outside, though there is also an option to buy certain items on the premises.
