Mostar has many tourist shops and some excellent restaurants. We combined our tour with 3 others, and were pleasantly surprised to see the familiar faces of other Americans we’d run into the day before. My 8-year-old loved the tour, as did we. Kotor was the most surprising of our trip. If you’re hungry, eat in Bosnia. The food is the cheapest and best. Specifically, the cevapi. We throroughly enjoyed our trip, learning about the history, all of the border crossings and knowledge from Josip. It was great! - Steven C1 contributionUnfortunately, due to high winds, the cruise ship I was on was unable to dock in Dubrovnik :( we were disappointed and I expected that we would lose the tour money. When contacted, without even asking, a complete refund was offered. Vans picked us up, dropped us off in the old part of Dubrovnik, and brought us back. We were mainly outside of the tourist areas, so less crowded, but we also got to see some of the nicest spots in the city. We stopped at several restaurants. The food and drink were all very good. Goran was very knowledgable and entertaining. We were a group of 5 couples. All 10 of us felt this was the best stop of our entire 10-day cruise. - Kris W1 contributionWe had an amazing time on the Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik with Tom as our guide! Tom was incredibly friendly and accommodating, tailoring our private tour to exactly what we wanted. He had a deep knowledge of both the show and the city, explaining how specific scenes were filmed and how they connected to Dubrovnik’s landmarks. He even brought large photos from the show, which made it easy to see where filming took place and what was added in post-production.
Tom's passion for the show really shone through, especially with his insider stories—his sister was even an extra on the show! This added a unique and personal touch to the experience. Even one member of our group, who had never watched an episode, thoroughly enjoyed the tour thanks to Tom’s fascinating mix of Game of Thrones trivia and historical facts about the city. It felt like a perfect blend of GoT and Dubrovnik history.
We were also impressed with the extra effort Tom put in—he sent us his pictures from the tour so we could refer back to them. Overall, we would highly recommend Tom’s private Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik.
