Clear and not too deep ; very sheltered for kayaking - I`d recommend a pair of `Reef shoes ` for ease of swimming

Great walk, we went south to north despite repeatedly being told we should do it the other way for fear of getting lost. Just before we did the cross island walk someone must have been through putting markers to allow people to do it the other way. In fact I think the track was better signposted the way we went. The main advantage of doing it from a avarua would be the swim at wigmores. Not an easy walk and would not recommend if you are not fit. Don't do on Sundays if you are relying on the bus as currently the Sunday bus isn't going

Beautiful beach with great swimming, you can walk out to the sand bar which is called heaven . Would be nice to see some more corals restored around the lagoon, but the water was spectacular

Wish we had gone here on day 1!

Golden beach, crystal clear lagoon and less sea cucumbers than Muri. Lower tide was better for our family as our 10 year old was more confident snorkeling in her depth (as was i). Really safe waters. Plenty of parking and beautiful fish!

Being there in person is way better than seeing a picture. Definitely Paradise indeed. How beautiful this place; love it so much!

Beautiful gardens, excellent foods and a bonus that the mother and daughter both had time to chat to us about the vision, the building of it and their dreams for the future. Definitely worth a couple of hours of your time.

Want to be there at sunset on a clear evening. It's been suggested it would be a great spot to take a Take Away meal. There's a way down from the road, just to the right of the lay-by.

A wonderful way to get an understanding of the Cook Islands. The displays are simple and informative and you can chat to the staff for more information. The cafe has great food.

Went twice this trip - the first time it had only reopened so not as busy or well attended as usual. Went again a couple of weeks later and the market was in full swing again. Managed to get a lot more shopping for gifts etc done. Such a wide variety of thing to buy along with some fabulous food. Will always make time for this market.

We planned to attend the service the first Sunday we were on the island. By wonderful coincidence, the owners of the house we rented are elders in the church. They gave us a ride to and from church and even lent beautiful hats to my wife and her sister. A generous lunch was served to the visitors after the service. It featured homemade, local specialties.

The best beaches on Rarotonga are on the South side of the island, and some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen anywhere in the world. Tikioki Beach is quieter during the week and has really great snorkeling. I love the sand and turquoise water.

I wasn't lucky to be at this beach during sunshine; it was raining but I got to see if when I left for One Foot Island a few times and it's a great place!

Great views from the top - definitely worth the short hike. Still quite challenging in the heat as quite steep and a lot of bugs at the top!

We booked this tour from our cruise ship and it was great. Guides were knowledgeable and pleasant. We did spot two flycatchers and enjoyed the walk through the forest. Going all the way up is vigorous, but worth it. All we encountered no the island were welcoming and this during the Coronavirus scare. Cool Island last place that would take us in South Pacific thanks y’all.
