This is actually the second largest Buddhist Temple complex in Indonesia after Borobudur, so this site is totally different from Prambanan and Must visit to know more about Buddhism in Jogja.
It is a large area and only part of many Hindu temple sites on Java.

A stone's throw from much more famous Prambanan, this smaller gem is excellently and discreetly restored to convey a sense of what the whole (otherwise huge) site would have looked like centuries ago.
This Hindu temple has the entire story of the Ramayana carved into the stone and is a Unesco World Heritage Site.

This temple is located on the Ijo Hill and the location is really amazing as the view from the temple is really beautiful and scenery.
Amazing sunset view!

The temple is buried by Volcanic eruption before found by farmer in 1966 which is the reason why the temple is very unique and you need to walk down to view this majestic temple.
It's rare to see a temple being built underground and they had discovered this site by accident, there might be a lot more according to archaeologists.
