We enjoyed strolling around the area looking at the outdoor art, visiting the galleries, shopping, dining and even buying the art.
Fancy, chill place with super cool galleries, little handicraft shops, nice food places etc etc. Perfect place to spend a day just strolling around and exploring what the 798 district has to offer.

Think they should all be done together (drum and bell towers, shopping alley, hutongs in alleys off shopping street and strolling by the river) and that can only be done at daytime.
Bars, shopping, people-watching.

High End Shopping, People Watching and Great Street Style!
We loved the convenience of having all our favorite shops in one area, and with a supermarket in the basement.

Beautiful, new shopping area with a giant LED screen in the sky and two shopping malls on either side.
With the big square, the biggest screen in Asia, nearby shopping malls and restaurants, 'the place' is the place to be in Beijing.

This well preserved Hutong offered us: amazing Tibetan foot massages, unexpected paninis in a hidden away restaurant, and all the souvenir shopping anyone could want, without all the pushy barkers.
Wander the ancient (13th century) street plans of this very busy shopping district and Hutong area.

We enjoyed the shopping experience here, for authentic chinese products, from silk scarves to the chinese seals carved with your Chinese name!! Highly recommended!
It has amazing shops mixed with traditional and modern and western influence like tea shops, traditional restaurants, cafes, western stores like Zara and so many more stores.

I went to shop #215 which had a really wide selection (for both genders).
I went in all shops which were recommended here but they just wasted my time as after more than an hour waiting time and lots of calls they said that minimum time to prepare my glasses would be 7 days.
