Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The owners were such a pleasure to work with. Their store is well organized and filled with so many unique treasures. They made my dreams come true today when I found a widows mite pendant in silver which was what I fell in love with at a different store earlier that day. They gave me an affordable and fair price. Both gentle men were a pleasure to work with. Both are photoed here with my husband. Thanks guys!

I purchased some earrings at Zak's. The earrings were unique and reasonably priced - a wonderful reminder of our time here in Jerusalem! A friend had recommended this shop, and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed chatting with Zak - he was very personable and honest.

Mosses runs the shop and is very good to deal with. His jewelry was the best we found in the old city and his prices were very fair. We purchased 2 necklaces and they were less then what some of our friends spent at the tour stops in Bethlehem.

We wanted a meaningful and unique remembrance of our amazing pilgrimage to the Holy Land. The Barakat Family has the most beautiful collection of rare and special antiques as well as top quality hand made rugs (I'm in the fine rug business). They take time with each customer, no mater their budget, and they definitely have something meaningful for everyone. We found a beautiful 18th century print of the Mount of Olives that allows us to relive our tour of the Palm Sunday path with a special glow of sharing this moment with history.

Charismatic, knowledgable, friendly, trustworthy, and immersed in the history and culture of the Holy Land is how I would describe the Barakat Family and approach to business. Thank you, and we pray for your safety and peace in the area. Glenn and Catherine Barton, Delray Beach, Florida.
