This trip with Alex was the highlight of my trip to Israel. Alex was full of information, energy and humor. He took his time to explain everything (in 2 different languages) to make sure everyone got the full experience. Alex’s humor and personality are what made the trip. The views and scenery are absolutely out of this world, stops are made to allow pictures. One of the biggest pros is they do hotel pick up, makes everything so much faster and easier. I would recommend alex and his company to anyone and everyone.

This was the only tour I found that could get us across the border from Eilat to Petra. For a full day, the price isn’t bad. However, plan on doubling this price because you will pay - in cash - another $135 (if my memory serves me correctly) to a “random man” at the border crossing.
They were 45 minutes late picking us up from our hotel, but ignoring the high tariff to cross, they made the movement to Petra pretty hassle-free.
Petra is beautiful but we only had about 3 hours to explore it- didn’t make it more than 1/3 of the way through. Our guide was very knowledgeable but we would’ve preferred more time exploring more of the city. The guide did give us 15 minutes at the start and 40 at the end to explore on our own (plenty of time to pay a Bedouin kid to take you to the top of the cliff facing the treasury *** if you are relatively fit***).
All in all, we paid (a lot) for convenience because we could sleep in the car and didn’t have to bring out money for lunch. Wadi Rum would have been a fun place to stop in rather than just drive by but we did have a time crunch for crossing the border coming back to Israel.
I already recommended this tour to a friend but it’s because other options (from Israel) are rare.
Very informative tour but very expensive and not a ton of time in Petra itself.

We had a lovely boat trip with our family of four in Aqaba! The atmosphere was great. We enjoyed lovely sights accompanied by great music and the amazing staff. We were picked up at the hotel by the owner himself. Our boat trip was delayed a bit due to the busy waters during Eid Mubarak so we did not end up snorkeling, bit overall it was a lovely experience!

Actually we would give 3 1/2 stars, because we had some problems during our trip. Here is a quick overview (++ great; + okay; - could be improved; -- disappointing):

++ Petra itselfs: we really enjoyed being there and we are very happy decided to book a 2-day-trip, because it is really worth it.

    ++ booking: very easy

++ communication during booking: had some questions before booking & got answers quickly

-- pick-up: we were on time at the meeting point, but nobody was coming. After 30 Min we called the emergency number and then we had to wait another 45 Min until someone picked us up. They just forgot us.

+ transportation: nice, young guide, arrival at petra on time

    + guided tour: okay, informative

    - snack box: just kind of ‘old' fruits & vegetables

-Transport to Eilat: we arrived late at 19:30 pm at the border (itinerary says 18:30)

-- Transportation from Eilat to Tel Aviv: The driver drove insanely. Then we had to stop our ride to Tel Aviv because the bus broke down. We had to wait more than 90 Min for a new bus. Nobody informed us what is going on at no time. In the end, we arrived about 3-4 hours later as it was planned in TV.
We know this could happen, but I wanted to make clear that we were very unhappy with the communication of the staff of Tourist Israel during this trip.
+ compensation: I told this situation to the support and asked for a refund of the transportation. Tourist Israel has responded to my request without aversion and we received the refund quickly.

Just awesome. Me and my spouse got a private introduction with Nikita and co. We got three accompanions under the water, so it really was a 5 star trip. I warmly recommend this to all, who are only able to carry the tank in the back. :-) We also recommend to take the photos and videos in the package as well. Thanks guys, you are great! <3

This was amazing. Our girls are 13 and 16. It was a great taste of diving. We were underwater for about 30 minutes. It was amazing. We paid a bit extra (200 shekels) for Go Pro photos of the family which one of the dive masters took. Each person in your party has a personal dive master that stays very close to you - so it is VERY SAFE. In fact, I can think of a safer way to get a taste of diving. The reef we visited was incredible. Wonderful coral, fish and color. Probably 60-90 foot visibility on the day we went. For the incredible attention to detail, this was a great value as well.

The boat was intimate, our skipper was amazing, and we had the best time snorkeling and being out on the Red Sea. It was a great experience for us who are a couple.

While it was a fun experience, we were disappointed to only have 1/2 an hour camel ride instead of a full hour as advertised. Also, one of the camels in our group got angry for some reason and tried to buck its rider off. We were glad we didn't get that one!

For me things went very well. We entered the site at 11.30 and stayed till 16:15.
Enough time to see the monastery. I was surprised on how many people were saying the road till there is difficult and maybe it is worth going on mule.... The road till the monastery it is more than OK for average fit people. even children can make it.... sincerely.
I would not recommend to take the ride with an animal because it is dangerous, they tend to walk on the edge ... and it is plain animal cruelty the way they are treated and I never seen anyone giving water or food to any of very many donkeys that I saw there…
Even now it was ok, I think it has to do a lot with the fact it is extra season. I can totally see how in high season a lot of delays can be added and I totally believe the people who said they arrived in Petra at 13.30…
I believe that the company it is doing they best but there are things that can definitely be improved. people were very nice and tried being helpful. The lunch made laugh a little.
Even if you arrive late at Petra enjoy what you can. it is breathtaking.

I'd read some reviews of this company and was not too sure about booking with them but the timing etc worked for me. What rang warning bells for me was not the feedback but the responses to it, the unwillingness to take any of it on.
The trip did not get off to a good start. I arrived at the Nova Like hotel 20 minutes early and asked the staff if the driver would be coming in to look for tour members. I was assured that this would happen and this is what the your drivers did. (I can provide the name of the woman at the desk, I'm telling the truth). At 4 minutes past the appointed pickup time I started to get concerned so then decided to call Tourist Israel. I was informed the bus had left without me as I wasn't there on time when in fact the driver couldn't be bothered to get off the bus and come into the hotel. I can match any Israeli for pushiness and the driver did come back.
There was some delay at the border which I belive was due to the bus not having shown up.
En route to Aqaba we were informed that we had 2 choices - wander around Aqaba for 4 or so hours in 40 degree heat or pay USD50 for a boat trip which included lunch, drinks (water and soft drinks) and 2 swims in the Red Sea. In my books this was value for money but this is the first time anyone on the tour had heard of this hidden cost. By the way I absolutely recommend this option.
The rest of the trip was good. If you are looking for a 5 star experience this is not so for you. The jeeps were quite old Toyota Hiace vans or similar but they had canopies and got us to Wadi Rum and back? The tents were not salubrious but the beds were comfortable enough. Dinner and breakfast were goof
Petra was totally worth the visit. Not really enough time to explore - you'd probably need the 3 day trip for that.
