Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

About 4.5 km hiking trail where first half is along the coastline. View is amazing and picturesque.
Difficulty level is high as you have to walk through very tight shrubbery. Bring good footwear and expect to spend about 1.5-2 hours on the trip. During summer also bring at least 1L water per person.

Finish off with some Meze at the restaurant while enjoying the scenery.

Crossing the road from Balat area towards The sea, the so called Golden Horn, leads you to a wonderful small park. It is called Sair Nedim Parki. Few chairs to sit and watch the sea, or you can walk, jog or sit on the grass. You have a chance to feed the ducks as well.

There is an excellent city hike from Eyüp Sultan mosque to Sülemaniye mosque. In 4 hours you discover old Istanbul. Free to walk without a guide. Find in Eyüp the red-white marking of the Sultans Trail and walk into the old city. Pass the citiy wall, Kariye mosque, Sufi tempel of Jerrahi, Yavuz mosque, Fatih Mosque, Aquaduct and reach Süleymaniye mosque.

Its so serene that makes you tempted to camp here.. hahaha... just beware... there are big dogs ard... fret not.. they dont bark at you.. actually they are sooo sweet to accompany me throughout my hiking.
