Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you can stay in the Sultanahmet, do. Istanbul’s main historical and cultural attractions are in this compact district which is easy to explore

I visited Pierre Loti Tepesi with my family, and it was a special trip as I had the pleasure of bringing my mother along for the first time. My brother, who came all the way from the UK with his family, joined us as well. The experience was truly unforgettable, offering breathtaking views that provided the perfect backdrop for some incredible photos and cherished memories.

The Gate to Istanbul University opens up at Beyazit Square. It is imposing, but if you are not a student, you can neither enter the park, nor the university buildings. The adjourning streets and alleys are full of bookshops and cafes. Students have determined the history of Beyazit Square. There were some tragic and bloody student revolts here in the 20th century, which have also found their way into Turkish literature. It is better to be aware of this fact, instead of walking around mindlessly.

Built 1566 the Tomb of Suleiman I - Suleiman The Magnificent. was the 10th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire and 89th Caliph of Islam. Known in the West as 'The Magnificent' and in the East as 'the Lawmaker' for his righteous reign. He was the longest reigning Sultan who had the most military campaigns.

The tomb is beautiful and sits adjacent to the grand Suleymaniye Mosque.
