I had never visited a Turkish bath or hanmam previously and carefully researched ones available in Istanbul. I am so glad I selected this one -let me also add I am not a spa guy, and this was first time to any type of spa as well. I initially signed up for only the tip to toe service, but added all the extras after arriving -I figured as I might as well to determine if this is something I would want to do in the future. The service and staff were amazing -definitely 5 stars out of 5. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable. After my experience here this is something I plan to do again in the future and will ALWAYS visit this one whenever in the city in the future.

I was a hesitant to book as I'm normally not one for spas and pampering, and it was way more expensive than I would normally consider spending, but I am so glad I did. It was definitely the best thing I did in Istanbul and a memory I'll remember forever. I went with my 11 year old daughter (they kindly only charged half price for her) and the ladies working in the hammam were so kind and looked after us both. We'd never been to a hammam before and were a little nervous and weren't quite sure how it all works. It was such an atmospheric experience - we arrived at dusk with the call to prayer coming from the Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque and the Hammam in between the two. We had been around Topkapi Palace during the day and then to go to the Hammam that Roxelana had designed was amazing; it made the history come alive. From the warm marble, to the bubbles, to the tray with tea, sherbet and turkish delight at the end - it was a real treat from start to finish. Worth every penny.

Booked on arrival in Istanbul and had the best experience here with my partner for her Birthday! I cannot recommend this place enough. From the service in communication over WhatsApp to the reception and actual treatments, every step of the way felt beyond excellent. This is an experience that I know my partner & I will rave about for years to come and we 100% plan to return. Look out for this cool lemon tree in my pic to know you’ve arrived!

My husband and I had a fantastic hour + at the hammam. Contrary to some of the reviews, it wasn’t too hot in the steam room and it certainly wasn’t 3 rounds with Mike Tyson! It was in fact a very relaxing and conservative but exciting experience. If anything, we would have liked longer and a bit more physical massage. Each to their own but we would recommend this experience to any couples wanting to have this experience together. Service was polite, professional and very well organised. If we had the time we would have liked to go back.

This review is to help parents considering a visit to this magical place with small children.

I visited this hamami with my young (almost 3-year-old) daughter. The staff were very welcoming and gentle with her. She accompanied me for the whole experience and our attendant gave her an abbreviated version of the scrub and bubbles, which she loved (though didn’t so much like having water dumped on her head).

For those considering visiting with small children, I would say it can be a wonderful experience if your child has the temperament for it. Had my daughter been more prone to tantrums/had a hard time waiting/not liked strangers touching her/been having an off day, I could see it being stressful as the environment is meant to be serene and it could be difficult managing behaviors of a little one who is just not feeling it. But for us, it was perfect and we had a lovely and unique experience. In short, know your little one’s capacity for this type of thing before bringing them along.

I really can’t say enough good things about the staff, the experience, the beauty of the building. I’m very grateful that I was able to enjoy such a special experience with my daughter! She’s still talking about the “giant bubble cloud”.

Very good service from the booking to the check out. This hammam is meant for highly expecting clients who want a level of service and luxury that one usually finds in 5* hotels. We were warmly welcomed into the place as we walked in and offered drinks to relax before our program started. Then we were brought to our change cabin (we booked a luxury hammam treat for 2 people). Our experience in the hammam room with our 2 masseuses was wonderful, very different from anything we had ever done. My
Masseuse explained each step to me and warned me before so that I wouldn’t be surprised, I was very happy of this delicate attention. Then we had a break with fruits and tea served while we had our face masks on, it’s a great idea to cut the program in 2 parts. And the last part was the massage, for which we were nicely advised by the receptionist who asked us what intensity of pressure do we like, then she recommended a massage accordingly.
I would redo it if I come back to Istanbul as it was quite a unique experience. And absolutely recommend it.

After three days in Istanbul, a visit to a SPA is recommended. Price performance are absolutely fine here. Hygienic clean friendly and not intrusive. I liked the combination of massage, sauna and hamam. I will come again.

I would have said the best part of Istanbul was the sights and the food but then I went to Sultan Süleyman at the Good Fortune. I purchased the deluxe experience and was treated wonderfully by Bardab. The entire experience was simply amazing. Bardab is very well skilled in his profession.

We had the full program plus extra half hour massage. The staff were professional and friendly, the scrub and massage were heavenly. Facilities are clean and comfortable. Minor criticism, the relaxation room at the end could be more comfortable.

We decided to cap off our stay in Istanbul with a visit to a Turkish Hammam.

The experience was amazing, surpassed all of the research that I had done before our trip. More importantly, my family all agreed that it was excellent. My wife went so far as to tell me that we should have gone here on the first day so she could have come again and again.

Other reviews I had read talked about the underwhelming street appeal, but once you walked up the stairs it is a peaceful haven.

The whole experience was done in a respectful way with professionalism to ensure that the Hammam was relaxing and restorative.

For anyone looking for an authentic feeling Hammam situated in the heart of the old town, which also provides good value for money should book here.

If you are looking for a clean and good spa, I would definitely recommend it. Honest and helpful staff. Our package had a traditional Turkish Bath and deep tissue Massage. It felt very good.

Magical place! I was mesmerised by the staff and how careful they were with me! The Turkish bath was like heaven, after that I was blessed by the amazing massage and I felt the magic from the sauna. I was treated like a princess and I will definitely come back. The thing that was different from the other spa centres in Turkey is the hygiene and I even noticed improvements in my skin.
