The Living Land Company Luang Prabang
Lee gave us an introduction to this community enterprise set in such an idyllic countryside with the mountains and rice terraces view.
We paid an additional 10$ for a delicious lunch served on the second floor of the farm house with some great views of rice paddies surrounding us.

A beautiful scenic temple, very photo inviting location, a small trek to the bridge, a nice history, very beaten and gorgeous view, loved the experience of being there, quite and calm atmosphere.......
It sits on the hill overlooking the Mekong and the town of Pakse, affording superb views.
Wat Si Muang Vientiane
Great place to see Buddhism religious belief in practice One of the oldest temple sites in Vientiane revered by locals and so used for prayer and bringing of gifts of thanks.
So I had a little bit of an insiders view - one thing to check outside of the temple is the Buddha under a beautiful bodhi tree.

Wat Si Saket Vientiane
Some of the statues were said to be from the 12th century and there are many remnants of statues excavated by French archeologists also stored on site.
We returned to this Wat twice to speak with the monks, to see the compound, to enjoy the atmosphere and to view the 1000 statues.

Although the reclining or “Sleeping Buddha” is near the Great Sacred Stupa (as is a museum, other wats, and a gift shop), this site is only the gold-plated square building with a towering steeple-like pinnacle.
If you've visited Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Shwedagon Pagoda in Myanmar and Borobudur in Indonesia, then you must visit Pha That Luang to complete your collection of photos of famous landmarks in the ASEAN region.

This is an early morning procession of a couple of hundred monks walking up the street getting given food by locals this is the only food they get a wonderful site to watch tourist can also buy food for the monks...
