    Great tour and fantastic guide
    Our driver Eric was great. His English was wonderful and we had no problem understanding him. He was very knowledgeable about the country and the culture. He made us feel very comfortable throughout the day.

    The tour was fun and informative. We started at the market, where Eric explained the foods that were specific to the region. I asked him to identify a lot of the fruits and vegetables and he was happy to answer. Eric also explained the local foods at the lunch buffet so that we knew what to expect.

    We visited two mosques, which were both beautiful and fascinating as I had never been inside one. Eric graciously answered all of our questions about the religion.

    The river cruise was great. Eric and the boat driver managed to find us a troupe of monkeys, even though I had been told it would be hard to see them during this time of year. We also walked through the water village, which provided us with insight into the local culture.

    The only thing I would change would be the amount of time we spent at the Royal Regalia Museum. It got a little repetitive after a while, and it was really cold inside! But I am definitely glad we visited as the items displayed were beautiful.

    I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Brunei.

    Great!
    Wonderful boat tour around Bandar Seri Begawan and through fascinating rainforest nature! The tour guide and boat driver are very friendly, and gave us all cultural, historical and scientific information related to everything we got to see, from royal buildings, water villages and water schools to rare animal species. They know where to find all exotic Borneo wildlife, we observed proboscis monkeys, crocodiles, large eagles, regular monkeys, monitor lizards and various bird types. Definitely recommend this, the beautiful views are worth it already!

    A bit pricey
    Great tour guide. A bit pricey for mostly free stuff to see all in the same area. Would be almost as good on your own with limited prior research.

    Ulu Temburong Tour!!
    I was thrilled with my recent experience to Ulu Temburong! It was an unforgettable experience, and I'm glad that I had a great time exploring the lush jungle and immersing myself in nature. I must say, my guide Aziman was an exceptional person, and I am so glad he was able to accompany us on this adventure. It's always such a privilege to have a knowledgeable and friendly guide who can give you insights into the local culture and terrain. I'm sure his expertise and passion for the area made my trip all the more enjoyable and memorable.

    Wonderful tour, even better tour guide!
    What a wonderful and interesting tour of this great place. Led by my wonderful and informative host. I Learnt so much, and got to finished the night with a feast of local treats at the night market. Can’t recommend this experience highly enough.

    Brunei Surprises
    We were met my Aisha, who was delightfully friendly. Our tour guide, Nina, was exceptional. Her English was perfect, her knowledge remarkable and her charming yet professional attitude was compelling. Nina gave us an enormous amount of interesting information. As we had already done some of the activities on the tour, she was very flexible and immediately suggested alternatives which were not supposed to be on the tour. Since we were enjoying ourselves so much, we over-ran the tour timing - by about 3 hours! So a half day tour turned into a day tour, with Nina seeming enthusiastic about showing us moire, all at a minimal additional cost. I’m not much of a “tour person” but enjoyed this day enormously. It was very interesting and memorable.

    A Fun Learning Experience
    I had a lovely time learning about Bruneian cuisine and cooking with local ingredients. My guide Irene and the chef leading the class were attentive, knowledgeable and personable.

    Excellent tour by Freme
    We booked directly with Freme amd they picked us up on time for the 90 min drive from BSB to Ulu Temburong is a comfortable van with 6 other tourists. We reached their lodge in the park where they gave us morning tea and we met our guide. She explained the itinerary and options to us very clearly. We then took life jackets and helmets and boarded longboats, 3-4 to a boat.

    The journey up the river was about 35-40 mins and then we alighted and began a climb up the hillside. Finally reached a tower which we ascended 5 at a time. The tower took us to the top of the canopy and was connected on to a few more towers which ascended a bit more. Great views. After climbing down, we went back to the boats and went downriver to a waterfall where we spent about 20 mins.

    We then returned to the lodge, switching to kayaks about half way through. A delicious and sumptious lunch was served at the lodge. The staff were super efficient and helpful. We then returned to BSB by 4pm.

    Overall a very well organised tour by Freme.

    I had to pay a premium to do this tour as I was travelling solo but that did mean that I got a guide to myself for the day, which was a little intense but also meant we could spend longer at places I liked and less time or even skip those I was not too bothered about. All of it was interesting but wandering around on the boards of Kampong Ayer, after stopping off for tea in what ha to be it’s very poshest house, was probably the highlight.
