- Tilly W2 contributionsYesterday I transferred from Hue to Hoi An, seeing some sites along the way. I had the wonderful Mr Trung has my driver/tour guide. Mr Trung was very respectful and kind throughout the day, he spoke fantastic English and was very happy chit chatting with me all day (the poor thing!) which is really lovely as a solo traveler. Some of the sites were large and overwhelming and Mr Trung was great at advising the best parts to see making sure you maximise your time, he also showed the best places to get the best photo opportunity and offered to take photos of me at the sites. He was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer any questions. This tour was a great way to get from A to B and catch some great sites along the way - If you decide to book then ask for Mr Trung, he was so great I booked another tour today with him!! The driver and car were also excellent and made for a comfortable ride.

- Piotr U (poland)7 contributionsMatthew is a very professional guide with loads of knowledge and passion for Vietnamese culture and history. We loved the tour, the stories he shared with us, as well as how he put all his heart into understanding the historical and social processes in Vietnam; as well as the monuments in Hue and how he then spread it to us in a very detailed yet accessible way.
We would absolutely text Matt again if ever nearby, and definitely recommend booking a tour of the Imperial City with him. 11/10.

She is basically a history professor. Like having Ken Burns take you on a DMZ tour! Great tour, stopped at waterfall, the lunch and a mountain. Drinks and food provided all day. Highlight of my trip so far. Not one compliant. - MartaSeattle, WA12 contributionsWe couldn’t have done it without Toàn. We only had a half a day in Hue. ( I would recommend a longer stay) As the old capital it has lots of history. We got to see several tombs , the citadel and the pagoda. We did the recorded audioguide at the sites but Toàn told us about different aspects of the city, Vietnam and his life as we drove. He drove safely with a smile and a warm welcoming attitude. He dropped us off at the site and would promptly pick us up when I sent him a WhatsApp message.
A full day would be much better but a half day is what we had. We loved the Hue Imperial citadel, Khai Dinh tomb, and the boat trip on the river to visit the sacred pagoda. The tour guide, lunch, driver, and everything was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and interesting; she answered all of our questions and made for an excellent tour, keeping everyone engaged. The imperial city is beautiful, and I enjoyed the visit enough to book a second one to visit the emperors' tombs. My was my guide again, and her historical knowledge is impressive. I can't recommend this tour highly enough, definitely a great way to learn about the history of Hue. - Amy A1 contributionVu was absolutely great! He picked us up from our hotel in Hoi An to drive us to Hue airport in the evening, with lots of sightseeing stops along the way. It was a great way to see more of Vietnam and also get to your final destination. Vu was so friendly and knowledgable, and showed us all the best places for photos! Couldn’t recommend Stop and Go Tours or Vu more!
