Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Mork001St Kilda East, Australia624 contributionsWhat a way to see this wonder.
The hoards of people and you can just immerse yourself.
Found the grottoes so peaceful.
Stopping at the pagodas broke up the cruise around.
Very touristy but still a wonderful place to visitWritten 11 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Much more tranquil experience than Ha Long Bay, relatively quieter and less touristy. Here the sunset is out of this world. A Gem to be kept under wraps that everyone loves for a quiet get away.Written 13 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bloch132Piedmont, CA58 contributionsIncredible photos. Great didpksy if traditional garments of his photographic study of the 54 ethnic groups. Rehann clearly has connected with his subjects . The video documentary I would love to see again ! Audio playing traditional songs from many different groups. Spent 2 hours; could have been there even longer!Written 9 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GinnyAlaskaMillburn, New Jersey44 contributionsWent with my family of four - including two college kids - to this lovely farm for a half day adventure. We got a full tour of the garden and had the chance to learn about and smell all of the beautiful herbs that are farmed there. We even got a chance to plow, plant, and water a small plot ourselves. Then we went back and prepared a few dishes together, then ate those plus more delicious food that had been prepared by others. We had an absolutely fantastic time. Highly recommend!Written 4 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- James OCork, Ireland1,089 contributionsWe met Mr Lam of Vietnam Motor Tours by chance on the street in Na Trang and went on a half day tour, the highlight of which without question was definitely the Ba Ho Waterfall.
Firstly, the additional 40,000 dong for return trip from facility reception to the falls by electric buggy was the best money I've ever spent, and I would have gladly paid multiple times that just for the trip back. Seriously, I can see no sense in taking on such an unnecessary arduous walk.
The falls are spectacular located within an equally spectacular forest setting with loads of clean facilities, toilets, and childrens play areas.
The hike from the viewing bridge to the falls pulling yourself over rocks by using guide ropes is arduous, to say the least, but oh, so worth it. Most young and old will make it, but it is a little dicey here and there.
There are 3 ascending pools. However, on the day of our visit, only 2 were open due to a huge run of water following on from inclement weather. Something my sweat soaked overweight body was extremely grateful for at the time.
Even though we didn't get to swim, i would highly ighly recommend a visit to its value for time and money.

Little cave at the end where you turn round and come back. Lasts about an hour. Well worth doing if in the area.Written 5 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Raintree_ThailandBangkok, Thailand4,462 contributionsFun street in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, near the old post office. It's essentially a walking street with lots of used book shops and stalls selling stationery, paper lanterns, and books (of course!).Written 18 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Daune PaulLondon, UK5 contributionsThe beautiful wooden architecture houses an incredible collection of traditional medicine artifacts. The interactive demonstrations of ancient pharmaceutical techniques were particularly engaging. A unique glimpse into Vietnam's medical heritage.Written 26 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Eve M7 contributionsWe had a great few days at Cuc Phuong. We went on the Wildlife Experience and spent a night camping in the forest with our guide and the ranger. This was incredible. We trekked and went on a night time walk. We saw snakes including a cobra, amphibians and birds. They set up camp for us, we ate by the fire and had a very memorable time drinking rice wine with them. Our guide was great. Highly recommend if this is what you like.
We spent a further two nights at Mac Lake in some of the newer rooms so we could explore more of the park ourselves. They were good and clean. Hard beds but we slept well.
They do a lot of engagement work. A school group was staying and blasted the karaoke all evening and from 6am in the morning. This did affect the experience slightly for one night.
We hired a scooter for a reasonable price, visited the cave (really impressive- take a torch!) and the primate centre. The guided trip around the primate centre lasted 15 minutes - it was good to hear of the conservation work there.
Food was cheap but good at Mac Lake.
Restaurant and site as a whole could do with a spruce up as you'd expect for an old national park (including a litter pick on some trails unfortunately)but we went for the wildlife and we had a great time.Written 30 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Place is cosy, artwork's wonderful, and the staff is extremely helpful and welcoming. We bought an album that we needed to have delivered at a later date to Hanoi as it was too big to carry around in a backpack, and My helped get it autographed and sent to us very swiftly once we had the address. đź’šCommunication was super smooth and open all throughout, it was a really nice experience!
Gallery is definitely worth a visit just for the works, but it's also a great place to get albums or art to bring back home for a good price - we only wish we'd got more, as similar quality was hard to find in the rest of our trip through VN.Written 23 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had a private driver who picked up an English speaking guide just before we visited DMZ. The DMZ area was incredible. The history of the DMZ was well documented in a free museum onsite. The interp at the museum was so well done. Our 2 teenage children learnt so much. The total time from Hue to the Tunnels, with the stop at DMZ was about 3 hours (9-12). We then spent about an hour at the tunnels with the guide. This was anl unique experience we will never forget. I've been to the Chu Chi tunnels and this was WAY better. More accessible tunnels and more interesting because the whole community lived under there, not just the VC. The surrounding coastal scenery is also beautiful.Written 23 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
