Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Suggest you go on a weekday. Didnt seem as busy. 46m Buddha entry is included with your palace ticket and next door to it. We go lost trying to find it.

The most beautiful sight of this amazing temple. I saw this at night and it was not as hot and so beautiful. One not to miss.

As visitors to the Grand Palace in Bangkok, we were completely in awe of its beauty and grandeur. The intricate details and stunning gold-plated structures truly left a lasting impression on me. It was super hot on the day of our visit and we were travelling with a baby but there were plenty of areas inside to grab some shade. Walking through the palace grounds, we felt like we were transported back in time to the days of Thai royalty. The peaceful environment and immaculate maintenance made for a serene escape from the bustling city. We were also fascinated by the rich history and important events that took place within the walls of the palace. We would highly recommend a visit to the Grand Palace to anyone traveling to Bangkok - it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience that should not be missed.

Unless you are very cognizant of Buddhist history and culture, don't try to do this alone. Our guide provided the right cues and insight into what we were seeing. First, it is jade not emerald. The gold wrapping on the small statue varies with season. We were there in winter so it was wrapped so only the head could be seen.

A very worthwhile experience which would have been a hot, crowded confusing mess without a guide.

We enjoyed the house and the 'garden' with so many beautiful plants. Make sure to join a guided tour of the house.

A very pleasant experience and well worth a visit. This was the first visit to a temple in Thailand for my wife and I.
Entry cost us B100 each and we spent about just less than 2 hours.
There’s a nice spiral staircase leading up to the temple playing Buddhist meditative chants. The scenery leading up to the temple is beautiful and very calming.
We visited at sunset so we were also accompanied by the warm golden glow of the sun as a backdrop over the Bangkok skyline. As we reached the top we had a fantastic opportunity to get some lovely pictures and to take in the culture.
There were monks carrying out their spiritual practices which was fascinating to watch.
There is a toilet on site if needed which is very clean and well maintained.

This was our first stop - to see the immense "found" solid gold Buddha was thrilling. The site is part of a compound for learning. It has many buildings that are finely decorated.

A very busy place. Colorful. There is so much to see. I like Chinatowns. And Chinese food. It's well worth a visit to come here.

A very good experience and a must see if visiting Thailand if you have an appreciation for the sport.
I booked the tickets for the fight via ticket melon online and found the website easy to navigate and reserve seats.
When arriving at the stadium all the staff were friendly and helpful and directed us to our seats. We were then met with a friendly drinks server who took orders for drinks all the way through the show.
The show had a great atmosphere and the fighters were from all over the world. There was about 7 fights with 3 rounds per fight. The show it’self was about 2 - 2 1/2 hours long but I assume this will vary on the outcome of the fight.

After the show there was opportunities to have photos taken with the fighters.
    I would definitely visit again.
There’s several options for seating. Ring side seemed to be popular however I sat in the club section which is slightly more but found I had a better view of the ring than that of ringside.

A very popular Bangkok shrine located in the northwest corner of Grand Hyatt Hotel. This Hindu shrine is flocked by visitors everyday, almost 24hrs. Worshippers come to pay religious homage to the 4-faced Brahma god (Than Tao Mahaprom), well known to be kind and merciful. I dropped by a late morning to make a simple prayer for a kind trip and safe journey back. It was well answered!! It is at a very prominent intersection where Ratchadamri Road, Rama I Road, and Phloen Chit Road meet. This area has many malls and shopping complexes within easy walking distance, and there’s a skyridge (part of the R-Walk) linking to the BTS (both Chit Lom and Siam Station

Took the family (two teens) to a knockout event on a weeknight, paid for good seats (section 9) with drink /food service. Paid about $70 Australian Dollars each for the seats, which were great - excellent view. Started at 7pm and by 8.30 it was all over. There was only 7 fights for the night and there was 5 knockouts (3 were in the fist 20 seconds or so). The last fight was I believe a bit of a show fight - they were real entertainers to the crowd and there was no knockout. We wanted more - we didnt feel that we got our value on this night. I felt sorry for the people that paid the same as us and got there at 8. When deciding on which fight night to go I would see how many fights are on for the night. Overall - I would still definitely go - Thai fighting is great.

The Temple building looks attractive from outside and it was located at the road junction easily to be seen. The surrounding area was also well kept clean and opposite the temple along the river side was well and nice decorated with flowers and grass along the walkway.

At 314 meters (1030 feet), Mahanakhon is recognized as Thailand’s tallest tower. Purchase a Manakhon Skywalk and Rooftop package that will take you to the 78th floor. You’ll be rewarded with 360-degree outdoor panoramic views that will leave you breathless. Stepping out on the glass tray might also make you gasp! If you prefer staying inside, there is an indoor observation area on the 74th floor. It was cloudy/hazy the afternoon we visited but it didn’t matter – it was an incredible experience, a Bangkok must-do!
