Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a wonder of the world. The salty, crystalized volcanic lake. Very beautiful from kilometers away. The temperatures are really hot though and you need to carry spare shoes to access the lake at close range (crocs preferably) . This is a must go in Djibouti, the lowest part of Africa

Yes, you can have a day off and enjoy this cool beach. It is at some distance from Djibouti and road leading to it is very difficult, you need to compulsory have a 4X4 with you to reach over there.

Day Forest National Park was actually a disappointment to me as I had expected more of a forest. A lot of the trees are destroyed and there is not much to see. The mountains are, however, spectacular. The camp site consists of basic huts which are well cared for. A shared toilet block is very clean, but best of all the food is great. I did a day’s hike to Banquale with a local guide.

The mosque is beautiful and from the outside it’s worth a quick peak at. If you are looking for a mosque then this will work for you. It is a ice historical building situated in a central part of town.

Was pleased to find a nice perfume shop in Djibouti. The perfumes are genuine unlike in many shops where you find imitations. Prices are competitive. ..and an extra 5$ wouldn't hurt...keeping in mind the staff especially the absolutely welcoming and pleasant manager...

Highly recommend it! Kayaking and snorkelling at Arta Plage, beautiful coral reef. Lunch at the secluded beach was priceless. Anthony was very friendly, passionate and knowledgeable.

I took my open water diver license (PADI) from them and I had a wonderful time. The instructors were excellent and professional and their knowledge on the local dive spots are unparalleled. Looking forward to have many more dives with them.

Mohamed is a real professional. He arranged everything for me from start to finish and took a genuine interest in making sure I had a great time. Because of its size and remote location, this country is not visited by many tourists, which made the experience that much better. If you're planning a trip to Djibouti, this company will help you have a remarkable experience.
