Around 800 crocodiles. It was nice to see them soo close. There were 3 pens with adult ones and one big with smaller ones.

The waters were nice and warm, but the sand could be very hot during the day! Personally I preferred to visit the beach in the morning when its not too hot! What can I say, the area was not the cleanest but not the worst I've ever experienced. For the low price of the trip it was still an enjoyable experience!

45 minutes by car from Mahdia. 3 hours of magic. Many stairs but no restrictions. Go to the top and then the bottom on both sides. The undercroft feels as though it might have done when the Romans used it. After, visit the amazing Museum just down the road. Extraordinary place. No site information so take the Wiki entries on your phone. There is an English language pamphlet at the box office. Your ticket (£3) INCLUDES the museum.

The labyrinth of Lanes with cobbled stones is a delight to walk, passing shops selling lamps, carpets, food, dry fruits, dates jewelley and so on and so forth.

In between you find mosques, coffee shops or then stray cats looking for food.

the whole atmosphere is so soothing that you just feeling walking through these alleys and feel the aroma of perfumes and incense that burn and hear the sound of arabic and french words.

All in all a beautiful experience of feeling the culture of the Tunis people

This museum offers wax figure scenes of traditional life in Djerba with including depictions of traditional marriage. We needed at least an hour as we read the descriptions along the way. ( English, French, German, Arabic)
We had been advised at our hotel that there would be plenty of taxis for the return trip but are very happy that our taxi suggested he wait for us for a small fee as we saw very few taxis.
    Definitely recommend this museum!

The ranch Adada is one of the better places to go while staying at Djerba! The horses are amazingly well treated,The rides are extremely fantastic I’ve got to go there a lot, and every single ride, I’ll always remember them!
Morgane, the owner of this ranch is also
Very nice! I extremely recommend passing by there if you got to go at Djerba!
You can ride a horse or a camel, and then
    Enjoy your ride!

A small medina compared to the medina in Tunisia.
Untidy, maybe a bit repulsive for Europeans.
Merchants aggressive in calling to enter the store.
To my surprise, there were few visitors in the middle of the summer season.

I bought a ticket for the three attractions there. I went to see the crocodiles, then the Djerbian house. I went to the café near Lella Hadhria Museum to drink something. As I went to enter the Museum with my ticket (not perforated), the employee at the entrance prvented me from entering in a very impolite way. Although I showed him my ticket, he still refused in the same rude way. That is a scam! That guy is a shame to that wonderful park.

Beautiful, authentic, and artistic! You might wanna avoid going early afternoons, though. The shops would be closed and the sun unbearably hot.

We saw the reviews but visited. Yes, immediately a chef from the hotel appeared, followed up by someone else who said he was a liar! Worth a visit to look round the tiny alleys but don't put a visit on your bucket list!

A very lovely place with a packed marina and restaurants all along the coast. Nice stalls as well, but be sure to practice your bartering skills before going, things can get intense! Also has a supermarket and side by side tandem bikes for hire at acceptable prices.

This was the reason I came to Tunis, just to see where Hannibal grew up. I did not give it 5 stars because I do not necessarily want to encourage others to make the trip just for this. The price of Admission was 5 Euro, but that included access to 7 sites. I went to 2 since ruins are typically not well kept up.

Only a 15 minute visit at most, but interesting all the same - in particular some fo the photos of Bourghiba with other world leaders.

The beach in front of our hotel was very clean. Vendors weren't too bothersome, a quick shake of the head and they moved on.
