    Have you ever seen the rain?
    This was such a fun time. Unfortunately, our scheduled cruise time happened to coincide with a rain storm that followed us up and down the coast but the captain and her crew did such a great job, keeping guests engaged and interacting with us that it really didn't ruin anything. Plus, they told us rain in Hawaii is good luck. And who doesn't love a plate of tasty BBQ ribs (rain soaked ribs are still ribs :) ). By the end of the cruise, the rain had passed and we saw the most incredible sunset over the ocean which made it all worth it. Would definitely go again - just might check the radar before booking next time.

    Big Island Circle Tour
    We booked this trip the day after we landed in Hawaii. I consider ourselves lucky because they were booked out about a week and a half and we had a party of 6. Trip advisor said that there was no availability for that many people so we tried through the actual website and we got the last 6 spots for a Saturday tour.
    It was amazing and our tour guide Zachary was exceptional. He knew his stuff. No matter what questions were thrown at him he had the answered. Very knowledgeable about the island, plants, trees, geography, volcanoes, everything. Very personable as well and funny. The guy even sat in the sand with my 10 year old to explain how some of the volcanic hills were formed on the island. He always kept us on schedule so we had enough time for an extra stop or 2. No shortage of food, snacks, drinks or anything like that. Can’t say enough good things about the tour.

    Review of: Deluxe Sail & Snorkel to the Captain Cook Monument
    Beautiful Boat and Amazing Crew!
    Captain Alex and the crew were the BEST!! My group of 7 ladies had a wonderful time and saw lots of interesting sea life at the snorkel locations. The boat was beautiful and clean with plenty of storage for our personal effects. The bathrooms were very clean and much bigger than any of the other boats I have sailed on. Compared to the Fair Wind which leaves from the same harbor (Keauhou), this boat was quite a bit smaller, which allowed for a more personal experience. I do believe, however, that if I had not worn a motion sick patch, I would have been sick on this smaller boat. We had a minor mechanical problem on our trip, but Captain Alex fixed the problem with only a short delay. We still got our full snorkel time at both locations. The breakfast and lunch were nothing to write home about, but they were served with a smile by the awesome crew. Alcoholic beverages were available for purchase and I enjoyed several! All in all, a fantastic trip!

    Great
    I really enjoyed it all. The national historical park was closed and the lava tube was also closed and so we didn't get to see everything. The rest was great and our tour guide Edmund was awesome. He was very nice and knowledgeable about everything. Overall enjoyed it very much.

    Do this your first!
    Do this tour first when you get to Kona!
    Our guide Katie was amazing and knowledgeable. Not only did she teach us so much about what we were seeing but gave us so many suggestions on best places to eat and things to do while we are on the Big Island.
    The tour itself covered so much ground, you really get the lay of the land and learn about Hawaiian culture and history. We hit so many highlights in one day that I feel like the rest of our trip we can take our time, relax and enjoy the island.
    Highly recommend Katie and highly recommend to is tour!

    Review of: Kona Walking Food Tour
    Awesome
    Kamakea was our tour guide. She talked about the history of where we walked to. She explained how the King had united the islands and how people work together and share everything. We tried fried avocado and sword fish and Clam Chowder. Everything about the tour was awesome, Our guide is funny and sweet and has lots of energy. It's an amazing experience! Wear comfortable shoes. If I'm lucky enough to go back, I would go on the tour again.

    Review of: Kona Haunted Hele ghost tour
    Educational and fun!
    Zach was a great tour guide and let us handle some of the equipment he'd brought with him! Rich history and stories both were shared with our group as we walked down some of downtown Kona at night.

    Really neat photos shared from previous tours during and afterwards we were given a book of collected ghost-stories on the island!
