It's only available on Wednesday & Saturday's, but it has a terrific array of fresh produce, as well as a large number of local artisans, so it is well worth the effort of getting there.
... impressed by the quiet & welcoming feel of this market where you will find all kinds of memorabilia you can buy to bring home, as well as a lovely fruit and vegetable market on the other side of the street.

Samples range from ginger or flavored coconut pieces to a variety of goat cheeses to baked goods to a macadamia nut tart to a huge variety of choices from the Akaka Falls Farm.
The vendors aren’t packed in like sardines and there is a nice feel to the market with plenty of room to take in the surroundings and talk with others without feeling like you’re obstructing traffic.
