Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- ItchyFeetCamarillo, CA11,870 contributionsWe hired a driver for the day and drove out to the peninsula to see several different things, including this lighthouse. You can see the original Lighthouse that fell off the cliff during the time of Peter the Great.
You can also see buildings nearby that were built during the timesof the Great.Written 24 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We saw the lighthouse, several buildings that were around during Peter the Great era as well as old Soviet bunkers that had been blown up before the Soviets left.Written 24 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mercman111Twyford, UK297 contributionsWent on a day trip to Paldiski from Tallin. What outstanding value, just 3.30 euros for an hour ride on a clean and modern train. You will need to get your tickets on the train as the ticket office at the station do not sell them. The station at Paldiski is a wonderful Soviet style timber structure, which sadly is now gradually falling into disrepair.Written 11 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Viire T2 contributionsSummer of 2022 until unknown time, the trail is cut in half by the construction site of a gas pipe, with no way to get around it! No warning signs at either end of the trail, no pointing signs where to go. The trail just ends suddenly with a sign: danger zone, do not enter. Especially uncomfortable if you approach it from the direction of Kloogaranna/Leetse - the trail is too long to go back, there is no public transport anywhere for miles... just a dead end. I missed the lighthouse and the great viewing platform at the tip of the peninsula. There was a pier with heavy machinery to my right and a giant cliff to my left, which I somehow managed to climb, but then ended up fenced in, in construction danger zone. Had to push through a very narrow gap in the fence, a heavier person could not get through for sure. No signs or notices anywhere about where you're supposed to go when meeting the construction zone.. ended up walking through the wind turbine park, which was several km wide. This was not something I planned to go and see.
Most of the trail is rugged sort of beautiful though. Once the pipeline has been finished, this trail is definitely worth visiting though. Another warning: do not try this trail with kids under 10 yo. The trail at the edge of the cliff is dangerous. Possible to take an alternate route on the mainland though, which is not marked however, possibility of getting lostWritten 28 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is easy to find it but it is not opened every day. you can walk aroud the church and you may park your car somethere near.to move by wheelchair around the church is not very comfortable, but the road is very close to the church.
